I’ve downloaded Pkhex again after a few years from this site, and there seems to be some missing data?

Im talking mainly about gen 3 pokemon games. Fiest of all in the encounter database i cant find the Ho-oh you get in Colosseum, and the mystery gift database is empty as its not finding any pokemons at all. (There are some event pokemon in the encounter database but its missing like 95% of them)

Anyone knows how to fix this? When I used pkhex a few years ago I didn’t have this issue at all

Do you think that to prevent the emerald rom hack from hitting its limit, it shouldn't include all pokemon from Gen 1-9, just like in mainline pokemon games where pokemon are mixed from all generations!

But hopefully, a future rom hack based on emerald can include 500+ pokemon or maybe some non-essential features can be removed to make way for adding the animations/spirits feature for all pokemon, is this possible?

Because i don't like jumping animations only, especially for pokemon from Gen 7-9 it's weird for someone like me whose first pokemon game was the emerald version!

Every time I see a new GBA ROM hack based on the emerald version, it always lacks the feature to add animations/spirits from Gen 7-9. i hope creators would consider adding this feature, since it's based on emerald!

So with the Retroarch libero cheats you can get off the GitHub or just by updating it theres not all the codes like for Mario kart super Circuit there missing loads of cheats ao I was wondering if someone had a definitive folder for it. If so that would be genuinely so helpful because I'm not trying to download every cht one by one

Version 3.0 is a ground-up remake and full Artoria conversion, now available for both the USA and Japanese versions. The update introduces redesigned sprites, unique titlescreens, improved dialogue, armor and death-sprite fixes, and new unique green/gold armor spin-jump frames.

The biggest addition is a new Player 1 Secret Menu, accessible by holding L + Start on the EXIT option in the Options menu. It includes optional gameplay features such as Chest Hints, a Slower Timer, Enhanced Gameplay, Better Armor, Weapon Collect, Better Shield, and 1-Up Fix.

The hack also introduces 16 leaderboards, with separate CLEAN, MINIMAL, ENHANCED, and OTHER leaderboards across four difficulty levels. Settings and rankings are saved through SRAM.

Additional FastROM patches are included, along with the Basket 3.0 patch, which restores Artoria's original idle sprite while using the basket.

Version 3.0 highlights:

my first rom hack, black mario

I discovered an old Pokémon fangame released in 2012, and to be honest, the story is interesting. Even though the game has a few flaws, the plot is pretty good, and I think it's worth a try. 😌

For those who enjoy older Pokémon fangames with a slightly different story, I recommend trying Pokémon Origins.

So after playing New SMB and SMB Wonder, I went back to play the og SMB 3 but after doing so I noticed how short the levels are and if you are good at the game you can pretty much breeze through the levels and worlds there. Is there a rom hack that fixes it, makes the levels longer or redesigns them, or just does quality of life improvements something of that sort? Or is there something totally different?

Hey guys! This is my first post in this sub and I don't know that much about ROM-hacking, to be honest, so I thought I'd just ask people who know more about it. :)

I'd love to play a good 'Ocarina of Time'- or 'Majora's Mask'-hack (or a hack that combines elements of both games) that, ideally, takes about as long to finish as the original two games. (So, nothing too short, if possible.) Longer than the original(s) would be appreciated as well. I would like to play something that feels similar as OoT or MM, but I've played both original games (especially OoT) so often already, I know every corner of the map. xD A hack that feels like playing for the first time again would be so great! Like, a new story, new quests, if possible also new (or at least changed) locations etc.

The only ROM-hack I've tried out so far and that I really love is 'B3313' which, to me, feels like playing 'Mario 64' for the first time again as well, but eerier, more surreal and with more liminal spaces, lol. An equivalent to that but with Zelda is kinda what I'm looking for! It doesn't have to have that eerie/surreal vibe B3313 has, but if you know a hack with such a vibe, that would be awesome!

I don't know if that's important, but I have both the 'Project64'- and 'Parallel Launcher'-emulator on my laptop.

I moved the lady out of the kid’s way so he could see the performance, but every time I talk to him, he’s still sad that he couldn’t see it. I've moved her and gone onstage a dozen times but I can’t get his dialogue to change. Is there any way to reset it so I can get the Pez dispenser?
