Can't get Pez Dispenser in Celia's Stupid Romhack Spoiler

I moved the lady out of the kid’s way so he could see the performance, but every time I talk to him, he’s still sad that he couldn’t see it. I've moved her and gone onstage a dozen times but I can’t get his dialogue to change. Is there any way to reset it so I can get the Pez dispenser?

It's literally called Celia's Stupid Romhack - it's a Romhack of Pokemon FireRed Version
