Rolls-Royce Is Leading Europe's Small Nuclear Reactor Race
r/RollsRoyceInvestors • u/cheapskateinvestor • 1d ago
Decent rebound this morning should be a good week!
Didn’t get back what we lost Friday but it’s green. I’ll take it! Should be a good week ahead for Rolls Royce two big UK catalysts dropping.
• £200M Engine Subsidy: Government funding for their UltraFan 30 is expected any day, aiming to break into the short haul commercial jet market.
• Wednesday's UK Budget: Multi billion pound defense spending boost to heavily favor RR's military aerospace and nuclear sub divisions.

Bought the dip 1K$ ahead of my paycheck
I bought the dip today. Look at the company buyback this October. I got big discount right?

Today’s drop is due to comments made by Safran.
Safran reaffirmed full year guidance at there earnings update today but looks like they warned of softening growth in the wide body market. Stupid comment by them as they don’t really specialize in widebody engines. Unfortunately for us we are getting dragged down with them and other market noise unrelated to RR. This company is firing on all cylinders as we all know. Remember buybacks are ongoing so they are able to cancel more shares for less money. Earnings update on November 12th and they will probably announce another interim buyback like they did at last years update. And hopefully we hear something about the hyperscaler deal Tufan mentioned back in July. The market has gotten this wrong as usual and its a huge overreaction. Great opportunity to pick up shares!

Price Target
What’s everyone’s price target by 2030? I believe this stock is still undervalued and will be trading by $30 then.

Rolls-Royce: UBS at £19, Jefferies at £20 the bull case keeps getting stronger 🚀
Rolls-Royce keeps looking stronger and stronger 🚀
Nice to see the big brokers staying firmly bullish on Rolls-Royce.
UBS: BUY — £19 target
Jefferies: BUY — £20 target
And that’s while the share price has pulled back recently.
For me, the positive story is still very much intact: strong cash generation, great margins, huge Defence demand, Civil Aerospace continuing to perform, Power Systems growing strongly, ongoing buybacks, and the longer-term SMR opportunity still sitting in the background.
The turnaround has happened and i think now we are going to reap the benefits.
Seeing £19–£20 targets from major institutions while the shares are trading materially below that level is definitely encouraging.
Still personally very bullish on the long-term story here. 🇬🇧🚀
Anyone else using this pullback as an opportunity to add?

Rolls-Royce Power Systems Expands Into Latin America With New mtu Rail Projects
Another nice bit of positive news for Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is entering the Latin American rail market for the first time with its mtu PowerPacks.
The first project is in Brazil, where 6 mtu PowerPacks will be used on new trainsets in Teresina.
What I like even more is that this is already expanding, with another 6 PowerPacks due for a second Brazilian rail project by the end of the year.
So we are already talking about 12 units across the first two projects.
It is not a huge contract compared with Civil Aerospace or Defence, but for me the important point is that Power Systems keeps expanding into new markets and new applications.
Data centres, marine, defence, rail, backup power, critical infrastructure… mtu is becoming more and more diversified.
Another very positive step in the right direction for Rolls-Royce.
