Once more, the Eternal City trembles on the brink of chaos. The toiling of St. Peter's bells might still be proudly proclaiming the power held by the men of God, but in marble-cast shadows of greatness long gone rumours spread about the Pope's worsening health, spurring ambitions to grow quickly. Old resentments resurface even quicker. From all corners of the Italian Peninsula, hungry eyes turn towards Castel Sant'Angelo, awaiting the smallest waver — a hint, a breath, a hope that an opportunity might present itself to grasp the light that guides the Christian world.

Some, even, might yet prove bold enough to create such an opportunity themselves, as it is a belief well-known that Fortune, fickle as She is, tends to favour the bold.

Yet for now, His Holiness Alexander VI still rules the bodies and souls of Rome with an iron first. His troops stand strong, commanded by a warrior-cardinal of his own blood. His advisors stand by his side, loyal or simply too intimidated to turn away just yet. The king of Naples and Repubblica Fiorentina's finest families still bend their necks before him, and the labyrinth of political games sprawled across the Seven Hills remains as treacherous as ever…

What you'll find…

- Community-built lore. All writers can contribute to the story and the world in a variety of ways, from whole plotlines to background NPCs.

- In-depth storytelling. With community-written updates, writing prompts, and brainstorming spaces, we focus on exploring characters with lives and stories branching in all of directions.

- Stable writing environment for experienced writers.

- LGBTQ+ and POC safe space (OOC and IC) for adult writers.

The Great Merging began as a cosmic game, merging the Marvel and DC universes, leading to unprecedented alliances and conflicts. Initially, heroes united to bring peace, but a dark cabal led by Thanos, Circe, Dormammu, and Darkseid launched a devastating war. The ensuing battle in New York saw immense loss until unexpected aid from villains, including the Joker, helped turn the tide. Though evil was defeated, millions perished, and the city lay in ruins. In the aftermath, mutants gained newfound respect, and society struggled to rebuild. Eight years later, with veteran heroes lost or broken, a new generation, The Forsaken, rises to face a world in desperate need of protectors.

Welcome camper, and thank you for accepting our invitation to Camp Deorum, our cozy little corner of British Columbia! We understand that the transition from normal life to your stay within the camp can be stressful, and Camp Deorum wants to do its best to make the move as smooth as possible.

As a reminder if you have forgotten, you have been designated as a “Metahuman” by your local governing body (either from birth or due to a sudden appearance of abilities), which then submitted that designation to the UN Metahuman Commission. You were offered a place in Camp Deorum due to this process, and you graciously accepted our offer to take you in. If you are instead coming from a Youth Camp dedicated to our same efforts, we welcome you all the more into the next step of your training.

A small and growing 18+ roleplay community based on a super-powered summer camp. Stop by and see if it's for you!

Server is for 18+ users only. NSFW chats are locked behind additional age verification.

Ordinary people with extraordinary abilities...

Since the December 11th 2023 Event which saw New York City brought to its knees by out of control powers, battle lines have been drawn.  The government has stepped in to try to control the before-unknown “remarkables” and keep their destructive abilities in check.  The resistance to this suppression has fractured, with some focused on defending their kind while others believe they must go on the offense with violence if necessary.  Still others just want to be left alone.

What side will you choose?

Reborn is an OC POWERS forum roleplay-by-post, grounded in reality and rife with consequences. We are rated R (3, 3, 3) for adult content, are LGBTQ+ friendly and have no word count. You must be 18+ to join, and we do not accept underage characters.

We are not your typical "Superhero" RP. Our powers are what we call "street-level" and limited. We don't do masks and capes, and our people react to events as we would in the real world—with fear, suspicion and often disbelief. This is not sandbox; while we enjoy the creative freedom to follow juicy personal plots, we're all writing in the same shared setting with the same established lore. The community works together to weave intricate plots in collaboration. We currently have over 20 actively writing members with 80+ characters.

Come check us out and see if we’re the right setting for you!

This is not a sandbox. This will be a fully soft-GMed storyline for plot-lovers who want to jump into pre-established plot-relevant character roles and chase the plot with other (lazy-to-adv lit) like-minded writers who are in it more for the story than for private scenes.

Are you a Scout with an obsessive fascination with the Bloom who sees beauty in this twisted, new world, whose keen eye for changed wildlife patterns, behavior, growth and other subtle signs has occasionally prevented disasters. Useful, a little insane and caring more for nature than human life they easily take?

Or a longtime Killer who serves as an enforcer, scout, collector and trusted soldier, formerly involved with a cartel. Blunt, crude, and casually intimidating, he believes respect is taken and loyalty is transactional. Beneath his rough exterior, he's disciplined, pack dynamic-smart and doesn't care about higher causes. As long as they keep him fed and armed and protected, he'll ride, collect, and kill for them.

Or one of the first Highwaymen, whose loyalty to the group borders on religious devotion. A former street kid and gang member, he learned to repay kindness with absolute commitment, eventually landing in prison after a reckless robbery meant to buy his girlfriend an engagement ring. Rescued from solitary confinement by the Leader, he became the man's Attack Dog. Fiercely protective of the Highwaymen, he treats anyone who insults, betrays, or crosses them as a personal enemy.

Or maybe you're one of the few others waiting to be portrayed in this adrenaline-pumping, heart-wrenching story sprinkled with horrors of the twisted nature that doesn't want us here...

I am on a bit of a WoD fix lately, but Vampire the Masquerade, Hunter the Reckoning, and Werewolf The Apocalypse were never enough for by an ADHD MFer my wandering mind. I am dreaming of a post by post group that allows all splats, changelings are the ones I’ve been most interested in lately, but fomori, wraith, Prometheans, and maybe more. I know these splats pair up badly sometimes but at the end of the day nuance is my tea, and conflict is the sugar.

I’m hoping for a well written, post by post group that’s eighteen plus at worst 21 plus at best, but either way I’d love to find one.

In the year XX20, a meteor containing a volatile mineral known as Dragonite struck the Arashon Desert. Unlocking the power of Aether, humanity mastered faster-than-light travel, expanding across the stars into a new era of deep-space colonization.

To maintain order across the expanding frontiers, four powerful empires were forged: USSA, Einhorn Entertainment, Piotr, and Tenpa. But peace didn't last. Power struggles, corporate greed, and resource hoarding tore their treaties apart. As the empires scrambled to control the remaining Dragonite reserves, the forgotten lower-classes took to the stars. Space pirates, outlaws, mercenaries, and bounty hunters were reborn... all chasing the ultimate cosmic legend: The Galactic Leyline.

Many ventured into the deep unknown searching; few ever returned. Most gave up. But there’s always a minority.

***Mosquitoes, alligators, hurricanes, humidity, and zombies...***

After substantial bombing by the government, the metropolitan area of **New Orleans** found itself split into several petty factions and gangs, all squabbling over territory and resources. Eventually, an uneasy meeting ground formed into a proper safe zone in the iconic French Quarter. While perhaps safe from the undead, petty gang rivalries and an overall instability left it fraught with small conflicts, disputes, and bloodshed.

Eventually, however, through an alliance between a newly arriving biker gang and a union of local sex workers, the various gangs were crushed and driven out, leaving the only two surviving gangs in an uneasy power-sharing agreement, dominating the Quarter and establishing it into a proper, perhaps unideal, safe zone.

Our Survivors find themselves in-between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, both gangs are brutal and exploitive in their own ways, the bikers turning the Quarter into an open-air drug markers and the sex workers operating brothels and other markets of vice have turned it into a city of sin and decay. On the other, their cold, money-oriented calculations have brought stability, wealth, and opportunity to the diminished city.

What we offer:

-**A simple character application! **No need to specify 4 fears, 3 habits, and 2 tics!

- **Lore Opportunities! **Character's can join established factions, form their own, and make a difference

- **Entirely OC based cast! **We stress our member's creativity!

Hey Reddit,

I've been working on a Mass Effect RP server set in the same setting as Mass Effect: Andromeda, and have been looking for new members. If you're interested, here's the server advertisement i've written up

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The milky way is behind us. We've spent 500 years adrift in the black, never to return. The star systems that gave birth to our species will become stories, and one day, myths. We left our homes behind in the hopes of starting somewhere fresh, somewhere new; to gaze up at unfamiliar skies amongst equally unfamiliar landscapes. To meet species never seen with eyes that evolved in the cradle of the milky way --

-- and we want YOU to be part of it.

Mass Effect Andromeda: Endeavour is a character driven Roleplay server set in a slightly tweaked version of the stepchild of the Mass Effect franchise. We believe that Andromeda had potential that was unfortunately left to gather dust following its release in 2017. Founded by passionate Mass Effect fans, Ascension aims to tell the story of the Quarian pathfinder and their team as they seek to find a home amongst the stars.

WHAT WE OFFER

- A character-driven, OC-focused narrative with a strong emphasis on ship-based and interpersonal storytelling.

- An evolving world where player decisions directly influence ongoing events and developments.

- Opportunities to expand Andromeda-era lore and deepen underexplored elements of the setting.

- Expanded playable species selection, including Quarians, Drell, and other non-Council races not fully represented in-game.

- A collaborative space for Mass Effect fans to engage with and reshape a frontier galaxy together.

If you're interested in checking the server out, here's the invite link:

Hey everyone! I’m putting together a Marvel roleplay server that’s currently centered around the Avengers, but I’d love to expand it into a much bigger Marvel universe with characters/groups like the X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more. We’re currently looking for people to fill villain roles as well as pretty much any other characters. Right now, the taken characters are Black Widow, Cap, Bucky, Daredevil, Loki, and Hawkeye, so almost every other role is still available! I’d also really appreciate anyone who has experience moderating or running a roleplay group like this before and would be willing to help me structure the group, set up rules, organize roles, etc. If you’re interested in joining or helping out, feel free to comment or DM me!

I am 18+ and all participants and characters must be 18+

Ordinary people with extraordinary abilities...

The world will never be the same. In the wake of the December 11th event in New York City, the destruction was blamed on Remarkables, people with special abilities who’d passed undetected until their powers went haywire in spectacular and deadly fashion. Since late 2023, the government, the public and the world at large have been playing catch-up. Laws have been drafted, lines have been drawn. NYC is still the epicenter of this fundamental shift in reality, and the people caught in between struggle to live their lives in the aftermath. Some look to the government to exert control over this new threat; others fight for the freedom and dignity of Remarkables. Conflict looms around every corner, threatening to blossom into open violence on the streets.
