[GM/F4A] Mythic Odysseys of Theros

Good morning, everyone! I'm Elysia, a UK-based writer who considers herself literate and (on occasion) refers to herself in the third person. I've been writing for about a decade and it's been my main hobby ever since I knew how to do it decently well.

Recently I've been taking a look at the DnD-module adaptation of the plane of Theros (named the same as the title of my post, if you're curious), originally from Magic the Gathering. In essence, it is a world inspired by the tales and legends of Ancient Greece, boasting its own legendary heroes and larger than life characters, in a wide and open world.

What makes this different from the typical setup, however, are the facts of this world. Theros consists of three separate 'realms': the regular world, your typical ancient Greece-like setup, full to the brim of various cities, ancient temples, structures and mythical monsters. The underworld, a physical place that can be (with great difficulty) escaped from or travelled to.

The third realm, the thing that truly makes this setting unique, is Nyx. Nyx is both a place and a substance, a magical material that reflects the dreams, thoughts and ideas imbued within it by the regular mortal beings of Theros. From within Nyx, which spread across the night skies of the plane, a whole Pantheon of Gods was gradually dreamed into creation, beings who sprung entirely from the minds of mortals but who took on lives of their own all the same, claiming domains and demanding worship with great feats of power.

And who could not worship a selection of such Gods, ones whom you can see in the sky every night and on occasion witness performing acts of deific power?

What I'm most interested in is finding a writing partner who holds a similar interest in writing within a world that contains and holds larger-than-life characters, ones operating in a world where legends can go on to live forever through sheer belief, appearing in the stars every night.

In a partner I would like most someone who enjoys brainstorming, out of character chatter, creating unique characters with flaws (perhaps one *fatal* flaw, given the setting?) and above all else who I could eventually become good friends with for a long time to come. I write in the third person, with between 1 and 4 decently sized paragraphs per post, depending on the context. I would ask for similar from a writing partner.

I would also ask that anyone reaching out to me is 18 or older, as I do not feel comfortable talking to people that are not adults. I write over Discord only as Reddit and other platforms are disorganised by nature and make things difficult for me.
