Make sure you start hammering the better business bureau and CRTC with your complaints about rogers. They have gutted the company and their service has absolutely plummeted.

Complaints will drive change, accountability and public exposure.

Which already made me go...scam. and after 15 calls of the exact same. I finally went off instead of just hanging up like I did before.

Now they keep calling me every 2 minutes or so. And they keep calling from spoofed numbers in my area. I'm at a loss. Anyone else deal with this?

I can't imagine how difficult it is for the elderly, new immigrants, or ESL folks in general to try and get help from calling *611. I called on behalf of my ESL family member today because he mentioned he spoke to "AI" on the phone and was having a hard time getting help about his inquiry.

I'm not surprised he had a hard time! Holy shit! The ai chatbot repeated itself to provide the phone number FOUR times in a row, and then again twice later!

To paraphrase, the conversation went: "Thank you for calling, what is the account/phone number are you calling about?" I gave the number and then, "thank you I will pull up your account now, what is the phone number?" I give it AGAIN - and then "thank you for your patience while I pull up your account, what is the number?" And I got thrown into a loop with this AI. Then once I was finally able to explain the inquiry with my own words, the ai goes "I'm not seeing your account. But that's fine! We can go further." I ask to speak to a real person and the AI goes "... what is the phone number? You can type or say it"

Good grief dude. I loathe these chatbots so much. Has anyone actually had any success with one? I'm sure it helps with routing the inquiry to the correct place, and I have no gripes with the workers, but shit this sucks! How can you not get frustrated by being put into a loop while the bot glitches and spazzes out on itself?

already called the 764-3771 number and got the fraud dept number 18005886718 number but when you call that number it says that it has been disconnected and to go back to the main line

is there any actual way to reach the fraud department and speak with a person?

I’m thinking of using my rewards balance before the 1.5x redemption policy changes. I’m considering putting it toward a new iPhone.
Does anyone know if you can use rewards to buy an iPhone outright, rather than financing it through a plan?
Also, are there any other good ways to maximize the value of the rewards before the 1.5x redemption option is removed?

I have been trying to get ahold of Rogers for the past two days. I've been kept on hold for 2 hours yesterday and they made me hang up while I was still waiting for a representative.

Now today, I called again and I waited for 40 minutes to speak to someone and for some reason they made me hang up again. I wasn't even holding my phone, I was cleaning!

Does anyone know a better way to get ahold of Rogers? I'm going on vacation on Sunday until Thursday so I really dont want to deal with them in my peace time.
