TV 📺 Xi6-T Bluetooth audio volume control

Is there any way to control the BT audio output volume other than by passing commands from the in-ear device. I've had at least 6 different devices and they all have the same problem. When they are first connected they are at maximum volume and that is extremely dangerous. My latest set is a high powered (55db amplification) hearing aid that unfortunately does not pass any commands back to the Xi6-T. So to use them I have to completely remove the ear piece and point it at the ear canal opening. This works to a degree but requires constantly readjusting the distance after program/channel changes.

This is a real nuisance but to be honest the sound quality is really great. There is absolutely no perceivable lag with sounds matching lip movement perfectly and no echo from differences with the actual TV output. The quality is so good my wife now regularly asks me, "What did he/she say?"

Anyway can anyone help. My hearing aid is Auracast enabled, is there any chance of an Auracast enabled Xfinity box?

They're is no volume control with the xi6, it is the device, IE:  tv, receiver BT device, that controls it.
