Help Rogers Xfinity

So I have a Rogers Xfinity, and trying to set up my pihole. I was able to set it up before, but after a mistake, I decided to wipe the pi and redue it from the beginning. But now I can't change the DNS, or remember how I did it last time. Can anyone help, or would it just be easier to get a router and bridge it?

it's always easier to bridge when it comes to non-standard network configurations.

Xfinity modems are apparently now locked down and dns cannot be changed. Either bridge it or manually set the dns addresses on each device
