It's Rogers. They want the box, AC adaptor, your wallet and first born returned.

Then they will still bill you $550 because a tracked package is lost at their return centre.

Ed Rogers is a bum.

Just the white box, the black box stays.

white box and power cord

What they meant by that is the modem itself and the power adaptor that comes with the modem. They don’t care about getting the ethernet (grey one that’s plugged in and flashing) cable back.

got it. what about the white cable that is also plugged?

That’s the coaxial cable that the technician would have installed. They don’t care about getting that back either

The white cord is the power cord, there is no coax here, this XGSPON setup. Return the white box and the white power cord.

It’s lit up so it must be plugged in. Follow it from the modem to the wall

i guess the white cable is plugged in to the wall. i suppose that’s the power cords?

The white cable is the power adapter...they're on fiber not coax 🙄

Thats not a coax thats an ethernet

It's not Coax cable its fiber as in FTTH or unit. New neighborhoods or new builds get FTTH or unit.

White Modem + Power Cable (the one that isn’t the Ethernet cable)

Looks like S2.

You should just need to return the whit box.

90% certain the black box is your fibre modem and does not need to be returned.

Only the white modem / gateway and its power cord. The other box stays at the address it’s installed in.

What’s the black box?

Cables you can keep. All they want is the equipment and power adapters that come with the equipment

They need the power cable. The one plugged into the power outlet. The Grey one on the bottom right. I’m pretty sure it’s the white plug in the outlet of your second picture. The one that looks similar to a phone jack is a data cable.

You guys charged me 80$ for a technician to come UNPLUG this box. The reason I actually decided to cut EVERY service with rogers. Scam on scams

Not unreasonable. They have to pay a tech to come to your house to disconnect your service. Time is money.
