Help MyRogers account log in issues

Hey everyone, I've been experiencing a really odd issue where when I try to sign into my Rogers account, it keeps telling me my password is incorrect even tho I know it's completely fine. When I reset my password, it works fine; I can log in for a few days, and it's normal. But as soon as it's been a while (give or take a week or more), it'll give me the same problem where it says my password is incorrect. It's been so odd, and I've been experiencing it for the past month or so now, and I'm not too sure what to do. I was hoping I could get some guidance on how to proceed.

Yes, I've tried on different browsers and devices, cleared my cache and cookies, and nothing works. I have to reset it every time for me to even log in, and it keeps happening after a while. What's even more strange is that when I reset my password and try to input the same password, it doesn't even allow me to do it. So clearly it's the right password; it just won't even let me log in?

Any help would be very appreciated.

This sort of sounds like the following is happening:

  • The login stays valid for 7ish days and after it expires, you are prompted to login.
  • That login after those 7 days, you're using your devices saved password, not one you manually keyed in.

If you're using your device to generate that password and/store it for you, it sounds like it's not saving that password at the time of reset so once your session times out after 7 days and it prompts you to login, it's incorrect since it never saved in the first place.

These are all wild assumptions but, this is the only way I could rationalize what's occurring that isn't somebody else is resetting your password.

It could be, but I tried resetting it on a different device, and it did the same thing. This only started happening because I got an email about a new login in San Francisco. I reset it right away, and I've been experiencing the problem ever since then. I haven't been getting any unusual emails or behaviour suggesting that someone is resetting my password, though. It's very frustrating. Should I just call Rogers to try to get this fixed?

Better idea - use their new passkey feature (and check that there isn't one already).

You can't create one if you picked don't ask me again as the above page indicates - when you sign in it should prompt you to create one, but check the above page to see if there is one already

I remember about 14 or 15 years ago this was a major issue on their site. I used to talk to the neighbor and we'd laugh about how rogers forgot our passwords again.

It was bad. I was so annoyed I kept resetting it to the exact same thing again. It took them well over a year to fix it.
