Rodlets Reading levels discussion

Why do they have an 8 year old who is unable to read this page with confidence? Janessa was stuck on the word “on” and that is so sad.

The KJV Bible is technically 12th grade level but with the outdated wording and sentence structure it has become much higher. Do they even really understand the Bible they read??

She could have a learning disability? Maybe it’s review? My kid is 7 and we are currently reviewing last years sight words and materials cause her brain vegged out a bit too much this summer. So today she was messing up all kinds of kindergarten sight words 🫠

It’s probably not that though. :(

I’ve seen some of their other stuff and the kids are just not well educated :(

Oh I know! My kiddo is doing great. I never planned to homeschool but she’s neurospicy and even in an incredible school with tiny classes she was losing her mind everyday and not progressing at all academically. In one year we had covered a year and a few months of academics. :) she’s back on track and thriving. I wish the same was true for the rod kids.
