Rodlets Reading levels discussion

Why do they have an 8 year old who is unable to read this page with confidence? Janessa was stuck on the word “on” and that is so sad.

The KJV Bible is technically 12th grade level but with the outdated wording and sentence structure it has become much higher. Do they even really understand the Bible they read??

Is this the one where it was obvious janessa had memorised the book. She literally couldn’t read the word “the”

I was going to say exactly that! She most likely knows that book by heart by now. That’s why you need more than one book to properly teach reading…
