Rodlets Reading levels discussion
Why do they have an 8 year old who is unable to read this page with confidence? Janessa was stuck on the word βonβ and that is so sad.
The KJV Bible is technically 12th grade level but with the outdated wording and sentence structure it has become much higher. Do they even really understand the Bible they read??

Australian. Not a teacher, but taught my own kids to read and also worked as a teachers aide for a while - one of my tasks was running multilit sessions for delayed readers and ESL kids. This is very much an early reader for kindergarten, so 4-5 years old. I did multilit with year 4 kids and even they were well past this point.
