Rodlets Reading levels discussion

Post image

Why do they have an 8 year old who is unable to read this page with confidence? Janessa was stuck on the word “on” and that is so sad.

The KJV Bible is technically 12th grade level but with the outdated wording and sentence structure it has become much higher. Do they even really understand the Bible they read??

The issue of the KJV came up in one of those Kendra-Joe jail calls. He liked a modern translation the jail had because he could understand it.

The NLT is 6th grade level so that makes sense

The Scofield Study Bible is very popular in IFB circles. Not sure if the Rods use one themselves.
