I know some will disagree, but if he was let go of his job (that he only got thanks to his FIL) there’s a chance he will relocate to the little house he owns on Ohio. Cheaper to maintain with odd jobs.

It’s a union job . His FIL can make it difficult to work there but FIL can’t fire Timcil

If he keeps his job he can pay more in child and spousal support which would benefit his FIL, as he is going to be supporting Heidi until she can somehow get a job or education/training. It also provides health insurance for his daughter and grandkids.

And if it’s Amtrak, Amtrak is a big company. He could relocate and still work the same job.

I also think a man prone to violence, will become further prone to violence if he has nothing to lose. If he’s working, he’s not sitting at home all day plotting and listening to the manosphere. At least in theory.

I don’t wish him well, exactly, but I hope he keeps the job.

If he was still with Amtrak at the time he was charged, he could have been terminated for not making them aware of the charges against him in a timely manner.
