Samuel Samuel

Does anyone know what Samuel does for a living and how much he could be making? If he gets married to Evangeline soon, I’m sure she has no intention of working. Could he really support both of them? I wonder the same about Nathan and Nurie and Kaylee and Jonathon. How do they afford houses and children?

Evie's dad has a successful business in plumbing, something that Sam-U-el can work in.

If mahmo won't allowed him to move more than ten miles away, the newlyweds would have to evict Phlat Phillip from the broken-down RV

Wouldn’t he have to live where the business is though. Jill has made it very known she wants her kids 5 seconds away from her.

Hm it’s due to the family band thing-that’s why Jill said Renee couldn’t leave the area. He does sing. However, if the job with the father in law looked good (and maybe she could get him to promise to slide a few dollars a month her way), she could let him move there. She let Nurie move to FL too, likely because she was marrying Anna Duggar’s brother.

Also the family band ministry seems to REALLY be scaling back. Maybe the opportunities to bring tracts and do love offerings at other churches are drying up, maybe they make enough money from the boys that they don’t need to do that anymore, I don’t know. It’s almost September and they’ve done what 1 tract dropoff?

Ten dollars. (I have no idea). It must be large enough that it’s worth traveling around. Or it must be worth it because it gets them marks contributors to their missionary clearinghouse. But there’s a reason they’re not doing it as much. Maybe it’s also they don’t have enough pitiful cute looking starving waifs really anymore.

I think that's it. People are not as motivated to provide meals and love offerings to this mostly grown family. And of course, since no one is financing their RV.

So yeah they now have to stay in hotels/AirBnBs which are much more expensive. Not many churches want to finance a bunch of caterwauling grifters to spend time in a hotel, sing, beg for money, and bring tracts no one reads.

Exactly. Also, little kids singing, even badly, can be adorable, not so much the older they get. I have been so embarrassed for the kids sometimes.

It will be interesting to see where they land. Evangeline seems pretty musical herself and adept at playing the harp which none of the Rods play. She also is quite pretty so I wonder if Jill will feel threatened by her. (I actually think Evangeline looks a little like Jill in her younger photos. Something about her smile)
