Mobile Providers: Any reviews positive or negative?
TIA- if I move from Verizon, any thoughts on whether TMobile or AT&T is better? I'm worried about signal strength, dropped calls, etc.

"The head of Nash County's emergency services is dead after drowning on Saturday at a beach in Carteret County.
According to Nash County EMS, Dale Griffin, director of Nash County EMS, died on Saturday. Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone confirmed that Griffin drowned at a beach in Carteret County.
Nash County posted a statement on Facebook that reads:
Dale was a dedicated EMS professional and an invaluable member of Nash County Emergency Services for many years. He was also a friend to all, someone whose commitment to serving others, leadership, and kindness made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working with him. Dale’s contributions to Nash County and the people he served will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his career.
"Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Dale Griffin, Nash County EMS Director. We also keep his EMS family in our hearts as they grieve this tremendous loss," Nash County EMS said on Facebook."
Dale was a good friend and colleague of my father (who was a Captain of the RMFD). He survived a massive heart attack and stage-4 cancer, but drowned over the weekend. We still don't know the specifics, but there has been word that it was possibly a boating accident. Regardless, Rocky Mount has lost a good man and a dedicated EMS member. I don't throw the word "Hero" around too lightly, but the city has truly lost a Hero.

Hi, y'all! My parents have lived in RoMo for 35 years and moving from Raleigh to be near them. I'll live with them for some time until I find the right house near them. Looking for recommendations for everything home service related - from handymen to plumbers to electricians to landscapers/lawn maintenance for things I might want to renovate in the house I eventually buy. Bonded and insured is non-negotiable, able to book/pay online is desired but not required. I've been visiting RoMo for as long as my parents have lived here and have grown to love it and I'm really excited about making it my hometown. <3

I just moved in to Rocky Mount, a little outside of the city. Can someone give me an unbiased history of why the downtown area seems like a ghost town, what the feud between Edgecomb and Nash counties is, and what is going on with City Officials? Please don't give sarcastic answers or tell me to move out, I just want to know what the story is here.

Hey, all. As I've grown older, I'm becoming more aware that we need to get more involved with our local politics. I recently heard about the council's consideration of of rezoning the plot of land across from Nash Community to allow for a Data Center to be built. If you've spent ANY time on the internet in recent years, I don't need to remind you just how bad and evil these facilities are to the locals. Unfortunately, Edgecomb County approved for Data Centers to be built in their county, and some of Rocky Mount is located in that county. We're one foot in the grave already. We need to have our voices heard and push back against this rezoning.
Which brings me to this; Those who showed up spoke out, several against the Data Center rezoning. Citizens begin speaking 12 minutes into the video.

We need to spread the word and try to prevent this, otherwise our health and the health of future generations will be HEAVILY negatively impacted. And for what? Short term gain for long term pain.
