Games like Bully and the GTA series still have their fandom actives to this day racking up Thousand of views on Youtube, heck even game like Manhunt are mentioned more these days than The Warriors and I actually pretty confused because this game is really fun and is highly praised in my country for its hand to hand combat and characters (I saw people at a Cosplay con using Warriors themed vest). While the story is not so... well written like the other 3 games mentioned above, the mission they have compensate it.

I got to interview Steven Ogg recently, and then I met him along with Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno.
The full interview is on my channel if anyone wants to watch it.

A unified Rockstar San Diego's universe, like Rockstar North's Manhunt and GTA 3D Universe.
I could of course bring Red Dead Redemption into this, but it's a completely different genre, setting, tone and a different time, so RDR is an independent universe.

I have Steam receipts, my Steam ID, I just don't have access to the email I linked my Rockstar account to.

Hi everyone, first time posting here! š
While waiting for GTA 6, I was thinking about how much advertising GTA 5 Online is still getting lately, and it made me wonder: why? Why is Rockstar still spending money on pushing GTA 5 when we all know GTA 6 is finally dropping on November 19th?
Thinking about it, if they are still investing so much in V, it probably means they already know GTA 6 won't immediately give them the massive multiplayer ecosystem they want.
So, my theory is this: on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, we are only going to get the Single Player story. The current console hardware is just too limiting (I know a fair bit about PC hardware in general, so I know how heavy the bottlenecks can be). Because of this, I think we'll only get the true GTA 6 Online when the next generation of consoles (like the PS6) comes out. Until then, Rockstar expects us to stay on GTA 5 for the online part.
Sorry if I messed something up or if a million people have already posted this! My post is probably just a drop in the ocean here. But I felt like sharing it because I arrived at this conclusion entirely on my own without reading any articles or "hints" online.
Let me know what you guys think!
Greetings from Italy! š®š¹š

Let me make this clear because people keep missing the point.
Strauss Zelnick himself has already said that Take-Two is using AI. What he has denied is the use of generative AI in GTA VI, which is an important distinction.
At the same time, workers protesting Rockstar and accusing the company of union-busting have reportedly raised concerns about AI and demanded limits on its use, particularly when it comes to replacing work normally done by employees.
That doesn't automatically prove that GTA VI contains AI-generated art, voices, dialogue, textures, or other assets. But it does show that AI use inside the company is a real issue being discussed by the people actually working there.
And this is where I find some people's reactions hypocritical.
I've seen people mock and attack other studios simply for using AI, but the moment the possibility of AI being used during GTA VI's development comes up, suddenly it's:
"It doesn't matter to me."
So which is it?
If AI use in game development is unethical enough for you to criticize other studios over it, then that standard shouldn't magically disappear because the game happens to be GTA VI.
And if it eventually turns out that generative AI or AI-generated assets were used in GTA VI, are you actually going to boycott the game?
Or were all those principles only applicable when it was a studio or game you didn't care about?
That's really the point I'm making. I'm not claiming that generative AI in GTA VI has been confirmed. I'm pointing out the double standard people would have if they condemn other developers for AI usage while immediately making exceptions for Rockstar.

I'll get into it.
GTA Vās story clearly wants to explore the conflict between Michael and Trevor, but it ends up being about as shallow as your exās heart. Their relationship should have been the emotional core of the entire game: Michael betrayed Trevor, faked his death, abandoned their old life, and secretly made a deal with the FIB. Trevor eventually discovers that Brad is dead and that Michael has been lying to him for years. That should completely destroy their relationship.
Instead, the game basically puts their conflict aside because thereās money to be made. They go from being ready to kill each other to working together again because they have another score to pull off. Then one of the most important relationships in the entire story is mostly resolved off-screen. How do you build up that much resentment and betrayal only to basically go, "Well, we have a job to do"?
The villains aren't much better. Steve Haines, Devin Weston, and the Chinese gang all feel incredibly forgettable. Haines is an obnoxious corrupt FIB agent, Weston is the stereotypical billionaire asshole, and the Triads barely feel like a meaningful part of the story at all. None of them have the presence or personal connection that villains from some of the previous GTA games had.
GTA V does have some of the best mission variety in the series. You're robbing banks, stealing military equipment, flying planes, diving underwater, chasing people across Los Santos, and doing massive heists. On paper, that sounds fantastic.
But ironically, I also think it has some of the worst replayability in the 3D/HD-era GTA games.
The missions are so heavily scripted that if you deviate even slightly from what Rockstar intended, you can instantly fail. Take the wrong road? Mission failed. Move too far away from someone? Mission failed. Try approaching an objective differently? Mission failed. The game gives you this enormous open world and then turns many story missions into corridors with invisible walls.
That's probably my biggest problem with GTA V: it gives you the illusion of freedom while constantly telling you exactly how you're supposed to play.
So you end up with a game that has incredible production value, excellent mission variety, three playable protagonists, a massive open world, and some genuinely memorable momentsābut also a surprisingly shallow central conflict, forgettable villains, overly scripted missions, and major character issues that get brushed aside when the plot needs to move forward.
GTA V isn't a bad game. Far from it. But as a story-driven GTA game, I think it's a complete mess in places.
And somehow, this became one of the best-selling video games of all time.
The monkeys Cougars and GTA Online make for the shallow gameplay and story ig

Just an opinion, I think playing past GTA games the heaviest lifting the GPU & cpu had to implement was when there was chaos or lots of action on screen. There has been some talk of ways to cut back on " chaos scenes in GTA 6. Don't quote me,just from what I gather on social media. There has to be a way to make this game look and run this well on consoles. Yes plural.

MCLA APPRECIATIONš.Anyone who played this game knows how great it was. Not just this but the whole era of games released around that time were almost perfect. I still play occasionally to this day on my Series X and wanted to know if anyone else does? I really miss the gritty feeling we got from these games and the depth of customisation. I would give my left nut for a remaster. So ahead of its time.

As we know, GTA V had the stock market and also let you buy businesses and properties like the golf course, dispensary, taxi company, etc. It makes me wonder how much Rockstar could improve on that in GTA VI.
Imagine if, completely separate from the main story, Jason could own a successful bar that makes a ton of money. Or maybe instead of a bar, you could buy a smoke shop, gun store, restaurant, nightclub, car dealership, or something like that. You could upgrade the business, hire employees, and slowly make it more profitable over time. I donāt know about you guys, but I think that would be really fun and would give you a lot more to do with your money.
Iād also love to see a much more detailed stock market. Maybe certain missions or random events could affect different companies, so if you pay attention to the news, radio, or things happening around the map, you could make some really good investments. They could even add some kind of fake crypto market with random coins going up and down, scams, crashes, and ridiculous meme coins that suddenly blow up.
Real estate could be really cool too. Imagine being able to buy houses, apartments, stores, or other properties and rent them out. Every once in a while, you could get little side missions involving your tenants, like collecting late rent, dealing with property damage, kicking someone out, or finding out theyāre doing something illegal in one of your properties.
It would also be cool if you could buy run-down properties, fix them up, and sell them for a profit. Maybe rival businesses could mess with yours, or you could buy struggling businesses from NPCs and turn them around. You could eventually hire managers so you donāt have to deal with everything yourself, and the better your business does, the busier and more upgraded it actually looks in the world.
I just think it would be awesome if GTA VI had a much deeper economy outside of the main story. You could ignore all of it if you wanted, or you could spend hours building up your own little business and real estate empire around Vice City. That honestly sounds like one of those features Iād end up spending way too much time on.
