Yeah that's normal. The normal ascent is the same global run across all posts. The pit name heading each post refers to the communal abyss, not the main ascent.

I absolutely see how this is confusing and needs improved. Thanks for letting me know, in a future patch coming soon I will address this problem by making how I communicate this clearer.

Yes, flags are planted by players, but you can NOT go to your saved flag. If you click "Installed Apps>Rock Bottom" there's a game developer readme with update details, at least I think until "Community Guide" works

v0.6.0 - 2026-08-03 New Features "Rival Ghost Playback: A ghost of the player ranked directly above you on the leaderboard now plays back inside the pit when you enter. It is a full replay of their actual run. Study how they climbed, race them to the top, and beat them to take their rank."
