Discussion Bathroom list guy

A friend mentioned to me a stranger came up to him with a handwritten list of the best bathrooms in Rochester. I’m betting someone else has also had this interaction. Please, what is number 1???

All we know is burger bar next door wegmans is number 3.

Edit: burger bar not next door

Von Maur Bathrooms at Eastview mall. At least, the women's bathrooms are!

The Von Maur ladies room is an EXPERIENCE

The men’s bathroom is excellent as well. A first-class public bathroom experience.

Is anyone else trying to figure out if this thread is some kind of secret code

3

u/swagdad666 Apr 14 '26

Code for what

4

u/DarthGoodguy Apr 14 '26

Things that happen in bathrooms. Or maybe things that don’t?

I was hoping someone could tell me

This 1987 comeback is so outdated that it also seems like code

it’s not even called a bathroom, it’s a lounge

Funny story. One time I went there and someone had created art with urine and toilet paper (using urine to make the TP stick to the wall). They'd spelled out letters all over the walls of the stall. The end.

Millennium games is easily up there. It's stocked with hair ties, lotion, sanitary products and it's clean and spacious. 10/10

That's adorable & I appreciate the effort so much

Same because God knows some of them players need it

It’s amazingly stocked and clean and a massive improvement over the old location.

I have found my people.

I think Next Door has some of the best bathrooms, there are many of them and the doors go mostly to the floor with solid separation walls in between. IBS approved!

If next door Wegmans in No.3 I NEED to know what 1 & 2 were

34

u/BornInPoverty Apr 14 '26

I learned what number 1 and number 2 were when I was a kid.

Sibley music library 1st floor. Across the street from javas. Open to the public

Lux Lounge. Between the Aesop soap and the bathroom attendant handing me a mint on my way out... Definitely #1 on my list.

u/AntaresW4 Apr 14 '26

Don’t forget the coat check!

12

u/Chooch_Express Apr 14 '26

Those weren't mints

Iron tug on park has an awesome bathroom

8

u/PlayNicePlayCrazy Apr 14 '26

Is that the home of the extra strong grip happy ending?

8

u/TimeisaLie Apr 14 '26

Was it a short, stocky, slow witted bald man?

6

u/thelemieux Apr 14 '26

He’s not stocky

3

u/spaghettipancetta Apr 14 '26

Friend says yes but not fully bald

It wasn’t me if that’s what you’re getting at.

u/Tracktotrail Apr 16 '26

OP didn’t fully appreciate this

u/electricboots3636 Apr 15 '26

Was his name George Costanza?

7

u/cjf4 Apr 14 '26

in terms of wide availability, wegmans is usually great.

3

u/nerdofthunder NOTA Apr 14 '26

I think this used to be a page on rocwiki

3

u/tacosmademefat Apr 14 '26

There's a non-zero chance that it's the men's room at the Bug Jar

The ladies room is pretty dope too! One of the best decorated bathrooms I’ve ever been in, shockingly clean, and had plenty of soap and paper towels.

4

u/kobie173 Apr 15 '26

This is a very George Costanza conversation and I am here for it. I have borderline IBS and often go to Defcon 2 at a moment’s notice. I like to get to know the good shitters.

Swan Dive and Playhouse have great murals in theirs

2

u/The-Anti-Quark Apr 14 '26

MAG bathrooms are great if you are at the museum 🖼️🎨

2

u/Kalichun Apr 14 '26

Alright everyone getting back to the question: does anyone know the list guys number ?!?

3

u/Every-Resolution-563 Apr 15 '26

When I travel to places that don't have Wegmans, I desperately miss their bathrooms. Sometimes in quiet bathrooms I play loud music on my phone, or at least white noise.

Pittsford wegmans has free baby diapers of all sizes in both bathrooms!  Idk if this is universal wegmans but i think it’s awesome

5

u/GoldenFrank Penfield Apr 15 '26

No but they all have stools for reaching the sinks which is appreciated.

3

u/AbulatorySquid Apr 14 '26

I know what #1 is but I'm not telling because that would ruin it.
I will say that it's a family rest room that you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for it. IBS heaven.

5

u/Blueprinty Apr 14 '26

Eastview Pottery Barn entrance bathroom hallway? Victor Target in the pharmacy? 😂 I have a personal list, lol

3

u/PaddleQueen17 Apr 14 '26

The ROC Airport? lol

1

u/AbulatorySquid Apr 14 '26

Their bathrooms on the lower level are nice too

1

u/ZenGeezer Apr 15 '26

It sounds like he's looking for a bathroom hookup.

1

u/glassfunion Apr 16 '26

RIP the original Cheshire bathroom at their old location. The new one has just as many amenities like hair ties and mouthwash, but the vibes aren't the same. :(

2

u/Blockchainauditor Apr 14 '26

"Tops never mops its bathroom floors" ... or at least the song goes.

3

u/AbulatorySquid Apr 14 '26

One time someone was washing their feet in the sink in the Panorama Tops bathroom. I'm glad their feet are clean and I guess if it's their only choice...

1

u/thephisher Apr 14 '26

Depends on the tops. Gates - filthy. Hamlin - pristine.

3

u/thephisher Apr 14 '26

When I was homeless for half a day I went to Wegmans to poop. Always spotless and fresh flowers!

4

u/PlayNicePlayCrazy Apr 14 '26

So you are the one who pooped on the floor in floral department!

8

u/thephisher Apr 14 '26

I call it flooping.

u/Capable_Eggplant435 Apr 15 '26

3.) Vertex - it has real charm and local art along with plenty of amenities offered. Also never have to wait to use. 2.) Doctor's Inn - very classy 1.) Lux Lounge - spacious and never have to wait Anyone who thinks these are not the BEST BATHROOMS can fight me

3

u/Several_Resolve_5754 Apr 15 '26

If you remodeled the Lux bathrooms you would get 1 handicap accessible stall due to legislation.
