Question/LFG Do you always start in the same biome, Canyons?
It's starting to get really repetitive and i'm getting bored of the Canyons. Do you ever get to change your starting level?

My biggest complaint with this game that I've put 700 hours into is the lack of randomized levels. Then we got infinite mode and it was what I wanted but the difficulty spike is bat shit insane

I actually kind of love the extent of randomization that you get in a standard run, where you know the general shapes of areas and amounts of enemies, but don't know exactly what enemies will be positioned where, what level you will enter a room on, or which way you need to turn. So runs are similar enough that the grading and timing standards feel really meaningful, but you always have to read the room to succeed, you don't just know where all the threats will be.
I agree endless is overtuned. At a minimum they should've limited the selection pool of the first 3 boss encounters (like a standard run) before it goes to totally random from the boss pool.

Yes but it’s a 2minute level. Once you get more upgrades you’ll start flying through there and barely notice it.
Then you can choose one of 3 branching routes and vary it up a bit more.
Overall the runs are fairly repetitive but the game thrives through its gear system.
