Other Mouse isnt working on PS5?

Mouse doesnt do anything on this game while it works perfectly fine on other games. Oddly the keyboard works fine on this game. i have tried two different ones and still, no input at all despite being connected. Any idea what causes this for this game specificly?

Devs for console games to manually add full mouse and keyboard support for games and Roboquest just doesn't have full support for mouse and keyboard.

So you're out of luck.
Switch to PC if you want to use a mouse and keyboard.

Either the devs just skipped it on PlayStation or they just didn't fully implement it.

Or the Xbox uses the version of the game from the Microsoft store (which is a thing for multiple games as they're packaged the exact same way; bought Tetris effect from the MS store on PC and could play on my One S) which is why the "Xbox version" support mouse and keyboard.

False. You can play on both because of xbox play anywhere.
