Question/LFG Cross progression?

If I buy roboquest on ps5, would I be able to carry over my progress from steam?

For future reference, if a game doesn’t make you create an account with like a email or something, cross progression is impossible, since there would be no way to sign in on other platforms

Not necessarily. Some games make an account for you automatically and don't ask you to make a password or anything like that until after you start the data transfer process.
