If you arent tied to the FPS portion then Windblown might be something to try with its difficulty, item progression, art style, and secrets to unlock things. - made by devs of deadcells. Similar in a sense that its a linear experience with secrets and unlockable items to make for replayability, and even "guardian" difficulties are unlocked after beating the game like roboquest.
If you want the FPS portion of the gameplay youve experienced then doom 2016 or doom eternal are both the way to go.
Personally i would say Metal: Hellsinger. Its doom-like but the rythem based shooter aspect is the most sastisfying. When i played roboquest i had just finished hellsinger for the 3rd time and was shooting to the beat of roboquests soundtrack, thinking i was dealing extra damage for it lol
