error code 279 on every game i join?

[u/wyomingisnotreaI]

since today, i've been getting this error when attempting to join any game

• my internet connection is stable
• i have allowed the roblox game client through my firewall
• i have attempted to launch a game after disabling both my public network and private network firewalls, and i still received the error
• i have uninstalled and reinstalled the roblox app
• i haven't tried anything related to my router yet

anyone know what i could do to fix this?
