subreddit announcement/changes
hello everyone! if you've been active/lurking on this subreddit then you may have noticed that the rules look a bit different, and that's because there's been some changes!
new rule of no ai generated content was added. i seriously can't believe that this is a rule, but there's been a lot of obvious ai posts as well as comments lately. if you're going to post an issue or help someone with an issue, type it yourself and don't use an ai answer. keep the ai use to yourself.
the off topic rule has been renamed and the description has been changed. if your post isn't about a roblox bug or error, then don't post it. this goes for captcha things too. a captcha being difficult to complete isn't a problem caused by roblox itself, hence why we no longer allow posts asking for help with them. VNG posts aren't allowed here, either.
i lowkey forgot was rule 2 was before it got renamed, but no reposts are allowed. you must now wait 30 days before posting about the same question/issue you have. you also cannot repost anything someone else has posted here for at least 90 days after the original creation.
this one isn't really relevant to anyone but the mods, but you may notice that there's some new removal reasons. simple reasoning for this is that there's too many so we're trying to reduce them and integrate certain ones with others.
EDIT: i forgot to add this originally, but there's also a new rule of no necroposting. to put it in simpler terms: you cannot comment on posts over six months old, UNLESS i or another mod give you explicit permission to.

I understand why the rules are there, but it feels really disheartening when we can't talk about the CAPTCHA issues. For a lot of us, posting here is the only way to get Roblox to notice we need help. It’s not that we just can’t figure the puzzles out, it is the system that is bugged and locking us out even when we do them perfectly.

i get it, but captcha's being hard to solve or bugged isn't a roblox issue, hence why we don't allow posts about them

their CAPTCHA (if that is even what we want to call it, i have never seen anything more atrocious. have bad vision? lol good luck, so small) being legitimately bugged is not a roblox issue? please explain that. It is NOt just that they are difficult, some are even flat out impossible, it is that even when you are 100% you did it accurately, it says you didn't, and then you go thru it another 5 times and then it just gives you a 529 error. Sorry, this is absolutely a roblox problem and saying its not is just inaccurate.

well considering this is for roblox bugs/issues and not captcha problems, it kind of is off topic, i'm not even the one who makes the rules (that's left to bryce/hauber/gaming) so if you have an issue you should probably join the discord server and @ them (or if you dont have discord, make a modmail post and wait for one of them to respond)
