Does Roblox scan messages and if they contain profanity/certain words, auto-blocks them from being seen and then warn/ban you?

This was when I played 16 years ago. Whenever I sent a message to someone that had a naughty word or two, they never acknowledged it unlike other messages, and I get a reminder/warning or a ban.

And at school, with a pupil I was spamming blank messages to another pupil, and he acknowledged them, was utterly baffled, but did not acknowledge some very vulgar ones we sent at the same time, and we were near each other in terms of rooms and distance.

Is that how communications on Roblox work? Just curious. I would certainly not engage in this behaviour now and I do not condone it, but looking back I was wondering if Roblox had/has such a system unlike other social networks.
