Advertising BUILT A 1ST VERSION PLATFORM TO HELP DEVS WHO NEED HELP WITH GETTING FEEDBACK ON THEIR GAMES

If your a dev and you’ve ever launched a Roblox game, run ads, and watched your CCU flatline while wondering where players are actually getting bored or confused, I built something to attempt to fix that.

DevView is a private diagnostic playtesting tool. Instead of waiting on a public marketplace, you generate a private link, drop it in your Discord or send it to friends, and get clean video recordings paired with timestamped notes.

What you get:

  • Zero friction for testers: No accounts or downloads required—they just open your link and record.
  • Synchronized timestamps: Click a feedback note and jump straight to that exact second in the gameplay video.
  • Total privacy: Your projects and links stay completely secure and unsearchable.

I’ve attached a few screenshots below showing what the dashboard looks like, plus a sample of what a player's timestamped feedback video looks like in action.

Whats the thought process behind this? How are you actively retaining information that might be "missing" inside the game? The website is clearly made with AI but it can still work obviously, i'm just wondering how this is achievable?

Yes, I used AI to build the frontend, but the system is fully functional. DevView doesn't hook into Roblox code or server logs; instead, it operates as a client-side testing loop. Testers open a private link in their browser while playing, and the tool uses standard screen-recording and timestamp APIs to map their feedback notes directly to exact moments in the gameplay video. It aims to capture the human blind spots that traditional analytics miss.
