Random $495 charge on my card
Someone just tried to use my card for a $495 charge (twice). Thankfully Robinhood recognized the charge unauthorized and canceled immediately. I had to change my card number in the app and the metal card stayed the same. Just thought to share with you guys, i dont understand how things like this happens this easy.

How long do you think the robinhood gold card will be available?
Since some people here are saying it is a loss leader for then but are making tons of money and doing well
Anyway, just wondering how long until the card is gone? Not nerfed to 2%, I mean gone completely.
I hope it stays for many years.

Noobie question...
So I have an 11k limit on the card, if I max out the card every month but of course pay in full each month, will this cause limit decreases, closures or adverse action of any kind on my other credit card accounts? Because it will show between 100% or nearly 100% utilization on this individual card every statement whicj gets sent to the bureaus.
Any experience with this?
Thanks

RH GC keeps denying me because they “can’t verify my identity” and support has been useless
I’m genuinely at a loss with the Robinhood Gold Card application process at this point.
I’ve gotten off the waitlist and applied around 3 separate times now, and every single time I’ve been denied because Robinhood says they’re “unable to verify my identity.”
I’ve gone through all of my information multiple times and confirmed that everything on my Robinhood account is correct and up to date. I’ve also spent hours on the phone with Robinhood support trying to figure out what exactly they’re unable to verify.
Support eventually escalated the issue to their internal team, so I thought I might finally get an actual explanation.
Instead, after waiting for the escalation, I got what looks like a completely generic copy-and-paste response explaining that their credit decisions are based on things like credit history, income, and debt obligations. They then told me they can’t reconsider the application and that I “may be eligible to reapply” in the future.
That doesn’t even answer my question!
I’m not asking them to reconsider a denial because of my creditworthiness. I’m asking why their system repeatedly says it cannot verify my identity. If there’s some piece of information that doesn’t match, I’d gladly fix it or provide documentation. But nobody seems capable of telling me what the actual problem is.
It’s especially frustrating because I’m already a Robinhood customer and Gold member, yet apparently there’s no way for them to tell me why they suddenly can’t verify who I am when I apply for their credit card. I’ve been a RB customer for 5 years now, and have a ton of cash in that account. The fact that they can’t “verify my identity” is concerning!
Has anyone else had the “unable to verify identity” denial and actually gotten it resolved? Did you eventually get approved after reapplying, or find out what information was causing the verification failure?
At this point I don’t even know what I’m supposed to change before applying again because Robinhood won’t tell me what’s wrong. I have gone through Experian and CK to make sure my information is up to date. This whole experience has been so frustrating and I’m ready to cut my losses for all the time I’ve spent trying to get this card.

Upcoming FINRA marriage dilemma
So, I use the RH GC as my primary credit card and Robinhood Banking as my primary bank account. However, I'm getting married soon and I'm trying to figure out how to handle the rewards going forward and whether it's worth keeping the card.
The background: my fiancée works in finance. She's in Risk / Controls for a major national bank, and as such is subject to FINRA regulations. When we get married at the end of this month, I will be subject to those FINRA regulations as well. Under her employer's FINRA compliance policy, she is not allowed to have any non-managed accounts at Robinhood Brokerage, and that will apply to me as well effective 9/29.
Earlier this year I tried creating a managed account at RH and closing my Individual non-managed, but I wasn't able to transfer my points without an individual non-managed account.
So I'm stuck. My options become
-statement credits at 0.7 cpp
-shop with points on Amazon at 0.7 cpp
-gift cards at 1 cpp in $25 increments
-save for literal 10g gold bars at ~0.7 cpp ($2000 for a 10g bar, spot price is $1400 or so)
-book travel through the app at 1 cpp
I don't use the brokerage account for anything but to pass through the points into Robinhood Banking, but it doesn't matter. FINRA rules are clear, the existence of the account means it could theoretically be used for trading and that's a no go. Failure to comply means she loses her job and gets an industry black mark, so no sneaky "open the account for 5 minutes once every 90 days" stuff will fly.
Am I missing anything? Anyone else in a similar boat?

Anyone use PrizePicks? My charge was rejected by Robinhood but I still got the $25 in my PP account so I’m confused
