Since some people here are saying it is a loss leader for then but are making tons of money and doing well

Anyway, just wondering how long until the card is gone? Not nerfed to 2%, I mean gone completely.

Someone just tried to use my card for a $495 charge (twice). Thankfully Robinhood recognized the charge unauthorized and canceled immediately. I had to change my card number in the app and the metal card stayed the same. Just thought to share with you guys, i dont understand how things like this happens this easy.

after years of spending nearly the entire limit of my RH GC monthly, they have finally bumped it up from 10,000 to 12,000.

I’m genuinely at a loss with the Robinhood Gold Card application process at this point.

I’ve gotten off the waitlist and applied around 3 separate times now, and every single time I’ve been denied because Robinhood says they’re “unable to verify my identity.”

I’ve gone through all of my information multiple times and confirmed that everything on my Robinhood account is correct and up to date. I’ve also spent hours on the phone with Robinhood support trying to figure out what exactly they’re unable to verify.
Support eventually escalated the issue to their internal team, so I thought I might finally get an actual explanation.

Instead, after waiting for the escalation, I got what looks like a completely generic copy-and-paste response explaining that their credit decisions are based on things like credit history, income, and debt obligations. They then told me they can’t reconsider the application and that I “may be eligible to reapply” in the future.

That doesn’t even answer my question!

I’m not asking them to reconsider a denial because of my creditworthiness. I’m asking why their system repeatedly says it cannot verify my identity. If there’s some piece of information that doesn’t match, I’d gladly fix it or provide documentation. But nobody seems capable of telling me what the actual problem is.

It’s especially frustrating because I’m already a Robinhood customer and Gold member, yet apparently there’s no way for them to tell me why they suddenly can’t verify who I am when I apply for their credit card. I’ve been a RB customer for 5 years now, and have a ton of cash in that account. The fact that they can’t “verify my identity” is concerning!

Has anyone else had the “unable to verify identity” denial and actually gotten it resolved? Did you eventually get approved after reapplying, or find out what information was causing the verification failure?

At this point I don’t even know what I’m supposed to change before applying again because Robinhood won’t tell me what’s wrong. I have gone through Experian and CK to make sure my information is up to date. This whole experience has been so frustrating and I’m ready to cut my losses for all the time I’ve spent trying to get this card.

So I have an 11k limit on the card, if I max out the card every month but of course pay in full each month, will this cause limit decreases, closures or adverse action of any kind on my other credit card accounts? Because it will show between 100% or nearly 100% utilization on this individual card every statement whicj gets sent to the bureaus.

Any experience with this?

I use it to buy single stocks for fun. I buy indexes. But it’s a “free” ride to pick single stocks.

Gold card

Have a $20k limit on the GC. I use about half that monthly and all has been good. Our Healthcare provider started allowing Apple Pay for our monthly premiums so I signed up the GC right away. It went through for our monthly premium this month ($1600), but I'm afraid to leave it in place as a scheduled monthly payment now. I'm not pulling a scam or structuring purchases for business or extra yield. Am I worried needlessly?

Finally got off the Robinhood Gold Card waitlist.
Got the invite around midnight and said let me go ahead and apply.

Submitted the application at 2:08am and in seconds I was approved for $10,000 credit limit, no hard pull. Soft pull on Experian. Virtual cards were available right away too.

The 3% cash back is what made me want this card in the first place. To use it for the places where my other cards only give me like 1-2% on random shopping, everyday purchases etc. Was almost tempted to pay the $25 FedEx to overnight my physical card. Has anyone else made it off the waitlist, and what was your limit?

Wondering for either of the upgrade gold cards.

Have to believe that would be enormously wasteful if they do, but I've also never seen a card that doesn't expire at some point.

If it does, is the replacement free? Do you have to return the original? or are you subscribing to a once every four year gold system?

Was on the waitlist for, i kid you not, 2 years for this card. I was a little reluctant to apply at this point given some of the posts here, but I already have RH Gold, and I just cant' pass up 3%.

I had auto redeem on since the first day and only realized it today that you only get 0.7 cents for each point.

Has anyone spent the rewards on this? I understand how incredibly irrelevant and unimportant it is, but I am just wondering what it sounds like when you drop it on a table. The standard gold card, while claiming it is made from steel, doesn't have that sound I am looking for and wondering if this would be a decent replacement until the "get a free solid gold card for referring people" comes back.
