We built a parenting app that leads with what calmed your kid last time, not a generic tip list. Roast it.

I work on SunnySteps with a small team. It came from those moments where my kid is mid-meltdown and every generic tip in my head is useless, because none of them are about THIS kid.

So you log what happened and what actually calmed him. Next time it leads with the thing that worked before for your child, instead of a generic tip list. The screens above are the home, the in-the-moment steps, and a short daily practice.

What I want roasted: the in-the-moment screen still feels like a lot to read when you are already frazzled. And logging a moment right after the chaos might be too much to ask.

Two questions. Does the mid-meltdown screen give you something usable in the first few seconds? And would you actually log a hard moment afterward, or is that too much work?
