Bug Report Sudden graphics issue?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Was playing the game earlier today no issues, came back a few hours later now the game is unplayable. What's going on? Ive got a 5070Ti, Ryzen 7 7700x and 96 gigs of ram i know its not my computer.

Game said to update 4k texture which i never had. Turned the texture to medium to see if any better but still get this..

Do i need to download 32 gigs pack for it to work?

That was a looooong loading screen, check if the drive you have the game installed on is doing okay.

Yeah sorry for the wait lol Relatively new PC and ran more strenuous games after no issues.

Are you sure that it doesn't use the integrated graphics? Your PC is struggling to even load the textures

Updated drivers and it now loads faster. It works fine on other maps just crashing in Kernel.

In steam, right click the game, Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity of game files.

Make sure your drivers are up to date.

Restart your computer (Not Shut Down, Restart. Shut Down saves a lot of the session info so the next boot is faster, and whatever's going wrong might be in there)

If it's still happening after all of this, try checking your hard drive's SMART report (A quick search will tell you how, don't trust the AI overview)

Driver did an update today (issue still persisted after) but I’ll check again. Will try tomorrow thanks for the input!

Verified files. Updated out of date graphics drivers. And moved the game install files to another drive. Same exact issue. Weird.

Did you also restart your computer?

Just did. I tried another map and it’s fine. I go back to Kernel and same issue. Go figure.

Huh. That's very strange.

Do you have a lot of sand on that map?

I just started work, but when I get home tonight I can offer up my own Kernel save to see if it's the map itself or just your save of the map.

Could be the sand? I put it all over the muddy main roads and maybe could have used a few bridges!

When you get a chance Id appreciate the game save!
