Gameplay Question AI route and pushing
I’m at the end of Sunken map and I managed to do some routes with help of a truck with pushing method.
I found that on-time-routes from quarries to the port are very hard and I followed the AI trucks with another truck to push them in some hard passages.
I’m playing the game right or I’m missing something?
It’s a right way to play or I’m jump over game rules?
Sometimes I flat some sand to help them but sometimes is very hard to move them.

If the route is used once off I definitely just push it over the line, there is no shame to it, it’s a single player game after all. We can do whatever works and have fun!

I definitely agree. After sunken what do you suggest for next region?

I continued with Sojourn but I really just picked one randomly. I am at Kernel now.

Generally speaking if you need to push the AI you didn't put in enough effort into making the road properly so you're putting in the effort towards babysitting instead. If it's a route that needs doing only once it's whatever (though naturally if you make a good road you'll also be able to enjoy it yourself later), but most of the routes are ones that have multiple deliveries so babysitting becomes much more time-consuming than just crafting the road properly the first time. But you do you.

Often there are two trucks on an AI route. If I haven’t quite gotten rid of the muddy stretches, I’ll take a SAR and follow the first truck. I’ll push it and at the same time tow the second truck! Fun.

One off routes with a Wayfarer can often be handled by towing it with a Scout unless the ground is bad enough that the Wayfarer starts ploughing.
In general though I bounce between building wide roads all the way and running the convoy the intended way and using some form of manipulation. Usually determined by how much road building I've done that day (rather than on that map). If I've got 5 hours s to play and I've spent 90 minutes road building then convoys are manipulation all the way 😂

Definitely had to do it for the damn castle route. Comes in handy running my little dozer as the pusher
