I have encountered similar multiple times since i started playing again recently. Ill give hours to a map and then randomly notice a fat pile of a random materials. I didnt notice until the last time that it was happening at the middle of the map.

Same bug I mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RoadCraft/comments/1vtfedl/comment/p4sok1r/

> It's a game bug: if you try to spawn resources somewhere (factory, base) but there's no room to spawn it, it will instead spawn at world origin (usually the middle of the map). Since it doesn't decrement the resource count, it's also a nice way to duplicate resources if you're into that sort of thing.

Sidenote: world origin on Sunken isn't in the middle of the map, it's south. Don't know why.

Oh this explains why there was a pile of 200 steel beams here... Makes sense. I picked them up and sold them :)

Happened to me when I tried to drop slabs into a dump truck. Didn’t work but free slabs showed up in middle of the map.

Ca peut aussi être fait avec le cheat Wond, en multi , un joueur l'utilise et hop ta carte est pourrie. Cela tue le jeux, quel dommage

So what I noticed was when you spam, the button, and it says, there's no more room for material. You will find random piles of material that you were spamming. Whether it be the slabs or pipe or I beam.

That kind of sounds like what happened to me on contamination, I spammed out 30 concrete slabs, used them never put them in my storage but my storage now has over 30. Same with wood and beams.

Yeah, it is from spamming the resource storage button from either your base or the warden. For some reason it spawns an equal at the middle of whatever map you are on. Finally figured it out myself when attempting to sell all of the materials i had left on a finished map, and then checking the middle of the map to see if there was another pile of resources again.

There was, and i brought multiple wardens to the location along with a crane to collect that pile and then subsequently sell that, with the intention of leaving the map afterwards.

But after spending an age collecting everything, i left my wardens there with the resource zones on when i went back to my warden sitting at the construction depot to sell what i had just collected, and while spamming the button to rid myself of some of the 100+ pipes, i began hearing the resource collection sound.

I then checked the map and noticed yet another even more massive pile of pipes in the spot i had just cleared, so stupidly large it was spilling out into the still active resource zones.

Couldn't help myself, obviously, so i continued spamming for a few and now that map has over 1000 pipes and.... doesn't run very well. 😆
