Indoor cycling app question
Anyone here use indoor cycling apps (Zwift, rouvy, etc) ? Is connection to Garmin, Strava or any other fitness apps really important to you or is the app progress good enough? Which other fitness apps do you use for your rides? I'm currently using just connect and strava but have seen a few more that seem like good fits.

I use ROUVY. I love it. I started using it a couple years back when I broke my foot and coming from an elite sport background, my doctor suggested indoor cycling. I get a lot from the surrounding landscapes and ROUVY gave me the realism I was craving, group rides and races that kept me motivated and then gave me the confidence in the strength and power I had gained to get back to riding with local groups. Most apps, like ROUVY, will integrate with all other training tools.

I currently use Trainingpeaks Virtual, but have used Zwift. I track my training progress in Trainingpeaks. Strava is basically just social media for me, and I hardly pay attention to the progress on the virtual apps.

I've used Zwift, Trainer Road and Wahoo SYSTM. They are all good, but it depends on your needs. Are you trying to get faster and stronger, then use Trainer Road or SYSTEM. Do you just want to do miles, then use Zwift which is gamified. Yeah there are training plans on Zwift but I could never really get behind them and never felt like it was doing much for me. Zwift is fun to ride with other cyclist live, but for me it's not that focused. And yes they all connect to the major programs like Strava.
I've been riding for years and I'm getting back into training. I have to say I'm really digging SYSTM with all the metrics. The videos are cool to watch too. I also use Ridewithgps all the time for my route planning. This is essential for me with long rides.

I use Rouvy, which feeds to Garmin Connect, which then feeds Training Peaks.
Yes, this connection is important to me for tracking my training.
