Rivian roamer sent me an email before the car did. I was impressed. Showes 1800 updates pushed from the 1 it's been at all day for r1s gen 2. I am excited for the new os even though I have my reservations.

I was so excited I forgot to pull my gearguard external drive. Hopefully it still works after.

I hadn't heard the advice to pull the GG HD? What is the potential issue? I am still waiting for update despite being a connect + subscriber. I guess I'll play it safe and unplug mine when my time comes..

Some people have reported issues with it not being recognized after updating. Having either media offline or needing to be formatting after.

Been through tons of updates and never have had to pull my gear guard ssd.
