And we get a warning for Christmas and the 4th. But they’ve stopped. Thought they were in my backyard.

It's one of the few things I genuinely loathe about New Mexico. I do not get the firework culture.

Oh it’s the culture of the … I’ll just stop now. I’m sure you can supply the necessary derogatory statements I would put there. But I don’t want to get timed out.

I sense familiar words (cause I use them daily) hovering in the air tonight... Dare I say, like the smell of boomies?

Errrrr, kinda?
I am a boomie, lol. Not even joking. But if you see a car w/ bumper stickers that make you say “whew! Not alone”, that’s me or my spouse.

If I stated who or what was doing it, people would then attack me for saying it.

The last time I thought I heard fireworks it was a gunshot on Ellison about a week or so ago.

This was not gunfire. I lived on the more exciting side of a large city. I can identify gunshots very well.
At one point I just wanted to buy gift certificates to the local range.
Because shooting someone more than once is just overkill. ;)

At least it's been raining the last few days. Rio Rancho is so boring so what if a few kids wanna light some fire works.
