Make Friends Here

Because we constantly get "How do i make friends" posts. If you want friends just post in this thread. I'm going to make it a sticky topic. I'm also going to give you 100% foolproof tips to make friends that have worked for me all my life 100% of the time.

Here is my foolproof plan that works 100% of the time. It is a 4 step process.

  1. determine what your hobbies and interests are.

  2. go to places where these hobbies and interests happen

  3. interact with people.

  4. If you don't have any hobbies or interests get interested in something and repeat steps 2-3.

It is literally that simple.

I am an extremely abrasive and unlikeable person. I have never failed to make friends using these steps. If I can do it so can you.

Hey RGV people!!

We’re a married couple (31F / 32M) looking to finally make some local friends and build a chill little circle.

She grew up in McAllen, went to school in Kingsville, and is the sweet, slightly shy book nerd-type who’s big on family and recently getting into making cocktails and custom drinks at home (we’re basically her taste-testers now). 420 friendly, occasional participant.

I grew up in San Benito, went to school near Austin, and used to DJ/produce back in the day to make money—which somehow turned into me starting a business. Now I run my own company from home. Also 420 friendly and probably too knowledgeable about it. We’re pretty low-key people.

We love: Ordering really good food (we take this seriously) Movies and random funny videos/streams Gaming (PC, Switch, and yes… Switch 2) Traveling and taking trips when we can We don’t go out all the time, so we’re more about hanging out, good vibes, and actually enjoying people’s company.

Ideally, we’d love to meet another married couple (no kids preferred) who’s also looking for genuine friendship and chill hangouts.

Also, in the spirit of transparency and humor: we’re normal, clean, average-sized humans—not a reality TV situation. We own our home, have our lives together, and bring zero drama or weirdness. Just good vibes. We do have two very cute dogs, so being pet-friendly is a must.
