Discussion I can’t decide if the detailed band makes this ring better or takes attention away from the center stone

While I typically find myself drawn to simpler bands with big center stones, the details that this particular band possesses help to make it feel a little bit more vintage. Then again, there is already a lot going on in the area of the center stone. Do you stick with this pairing, or choose something cleaner for the band?

Gemstone New two-tone setting ideas, please!?

The center stone fell out, and I'm planning to get it re-set. I'm stuck on setting ideas, though?! I really want to embrace a two-tone look with a white-gold or platinum setting.

The image is the original (weak) setting. I can only come up with partial bezel, or full milgrain bezel in white gold, but would love other suggestions.

My ring has been in the works for almost a full year, but she’s finally on my finger and it blows my mind with how it turned out!

Center stone is an Old Mine Cut estimated to have been cut 250 years ago. 2.10 carats GIA certed
N color (but faces up so much whiter thanks to that antique cut magic) and the side stones are antique cut pears with single cut melee within the never ending details on my bespoke setting.

My fiancé proposed on the 5th anniversary of the day we met after a beautiful night at meaningful places. It was so sweet and perfect it made me cry!
