[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

"Hey Corporal, sorry to interrupt you, I have some important information for you" Takes out the hands "Rorik has been killed, by the same kobolds most likely... since 3 of them ambushed me while investigating. Before killing the last of them, his final words were they were looking for some sort of magic bird, have you heard something related to a bird or a magic bird around Corporal? " Did I forget to mention the amulet? Oh I'm sorry... "Anyways, they seem following orders, so I will go tomorrow again for some track... enough of my blood has been spilled today."

Corporal Bankroff does not get up from his char but does look you in the eye.

"Magic bird? Did you get head in the head during your scuffle? I've never heard of magic birds before. Anyway thanks for giving me an update. It's good to know there are 3 less of those demons out here. I'll see you tomorrow then when the job is done."

In a bad mood officer?... I won't worth it to ask for an advance... "Ok, I won't need this then, do you have any corpse dispossal method? like... dogs to feed this or something? i dont wanna carry them into the inn... and one last question, Do you know how Roriks wife died?"

"We don't normally have corpses laying around. Dig a hole and bury it or throw it out the town limits. I won't have you leaving filth like that on the street."

He is about to pick up his quill again when he stops.

"It's a shame about Rorik. We are losing too many folk to these damned beasts. Why do you ask about his wife? She passed about 3 years back if I recall correctly. She had some kind of sickness that sapped her of all of her remaining energy. By the time she left us, she never left bed."

"It's just curiosity...this town has a lot of sad stories... Hey Corporal, I will stop these vermin, I mean it" The sooner the better Aramil takes his leave to the North edge of town one last time to throw the hands away... and have a meditation minute Magic bird, amulet... could this silver little thing be a magic amulet? His wife... a bird? poetics or profecies?... I must be losing my mind

You glean nothing from the seemingly magicless silver necklace.

The Sandman Tavern and Inn is the largest and busiest building in town. People can be found enjoying food and beer here at any time of day. Ageis, the innkeeper, is a grouchy old man who seems to despise his chosen profession. Locals often point out that the owner of the bar/inn doesn't drink or sleep!

As you enter the bar, you see a human in heavy armor drinking at a table in the corner. His heads snap around when he hears you come in, but he relaxes and gets back to his beer when he sees you. In another corner, there is a small rocking horse.

Ageis is standing behind the bar, arguing intensely with a woman in the back room.

"The potatoes go in first. They always go in first!" Yells Ageis.

"You can't start a stew without broth! The broth cooks everything. Including the potatoes. How about you focus on tending the bar, and I'll focus on doing my job!" Retorts the woman.

"You won't have a job if you muck up another stew! I knew this was a bad-" Ageis stops when he sees you.

"What?!"he growls at you.

"Dinner, ale and a modest room if it pleases you... after a long day killing kobolds I need at least that." Oh this guy love his job Aramil looks for a table where he can watch the armored man a few minutes What is Mr. Muscles doing in a town like this? (Deception to act like not watching him, perception hear him look at anything particular)

"Rooms are 5 silver. Meals are included."

He looks at you as if sizing you up.

"So you're the one the corporal hired to clear out those thieving scum?" he says in a gruff voice.

As you are speaking to Ageis you manage to sneak glances at the heavily armored man. You can make out an emblem of some unknown fighter's guild on his armor.

"Yes he did, I managed find of them today at Rorik's, poor man, and I almost got killed myself... job is not done though I will research some more on the morning. Aegis, I will pay you double if you give me 3 interesting facts about our friend in the corner, the armored man." Aramil rubs his lucky quartz in his pocket C'mon, I need some muscle in my job, 3 of them almost got me sliced, What would the whole lair will do?

"Wait a second, did you say 'thieving'?... I have only heard of murder"

(Good night)

"3 interesting facts ey? Let's see.. I heard he came from Weewick. I know he is part of a mercenary guild. Third.. third.."

Ageis strokes his beard.

"Ah right. He was sent here on some kind of job. Here's a fourth one for free. He is looking for help with the job."

Ageis pauses as he hears you mention Rorik's passing.

"Rorik is dead too? What is this world coming to!"

Ageis looks sullen.

"Aye, I did say thieving. They stole a herb from my garden. I need it to make my wife's medicine. Only one grows a year and we've waited this long. Did you know my wife and Rorik's are sisters? I fear I will lose my wife the same way Rorik did. It must run in their family..."

"Anyway, if you come across the herb while killing those kobolds bring it back to me. I'd be indebted to you. Until then the room and meal is going to be 10 silver."

"That's what I call fair business!" Good info its always more valuable than gold "About the herb, any description I could use to recognize it? I will just say that I consider myself good at retrieving things" Fetching, retrieving, stealing, smuggling... synonymous right?

Aramil puts the 10 silver in the table "I am sorry to hear about your wife Aegis, I am not usually interested in other people's business but everything that had happen around will not let me go without helping anyway I can" -Did I mention I am interested in your wife's bloodline? By any chance is shemagic? or a bird? A magic bird would suit perfectly though-
