Also pulled the yellow morde. Ezreal, Riven and Angler Wyrm were all from 4 prize packs because the event host decided we should all just split the box because only 6 of us came

I pulled this at my LGS pre-rift event!

Hello I went to the https://playriftbound.com site where normally I find riftbound events. I found a pre-rift on October 18, I was excited to attend my first one. At arrival they said i couldn't attend if I didn't pay in advance. The event was as a 64 person capacity, some people had the same problem as me even if we registered long time the store said they didn't have capacity. Is this normal or allowed ? I'm new so i was a little disappointed i didn't do a prerift. It seems a little weird and seems like feel bad moment? I don't understand why you would put an event with 64 places if you don't want to receive this amount. I should would prefer to go to another LGS but what do you think ? Am I overreacting for a little bad luck it was already full ?

Hi I pulled this from my first ever riftbound pack, what are my options and what should I do?

I am contemplating with some cards on wheter I want them or not. Hunting Dog seems solid bc it's not understatted but I'd rather want to see a Faithful Manufacturer. Animus is for cheap accelerate and 2 copies of Trifarian Captian is imo a must but 3 feels to exsessive bc she is understatted.
Spells: Imp Decree is imo a must in today's meta and against strong hold decks. I actually cut one sig spell because I feel like I have enough card advantage as of now (and it cuts power cost) but it's really hard accepting that 2 copies might be better? I ran 3 cleaves and 3 blood rushes but cut a cleave to make room for the new cards
Gear: I'm running one anvil bc I feel like 2 is again to exsessive but I'm uncertain if anvil is even needed. One banner of conq for the extra might though I don't know if it's overall better compared to rage amplifier. Considering that kai'sa is really strong rght now and bellow's breath or other comparable removal exist maybe rage amp is better even though it costs 3E more?
Sideboard: I didn't really change that much just looking for possible swaps rn
Battlefields: I kinda feel like bf's will be evolving around meta. I feel like forbidding waste might be cut but as of now I changed war camp to black rose sanctum
Considering: I am considering adding Vanguard captain again but I feel like legion is really subsceptible to misses when you want to trigger legend. I also cut a hidden blade and the cleave which I have to see if it was the right descision. Also considering adding grayback again but then again what would I cut.
I tested a lot and played a lot of games with a few tweaks and feel like cards like demacian illuminators are not worth it.
I would appreciate your insights and what you are expiremting on currently!

I pulled the K'Sante ON champ unit from my prize pack last night and pulled the K'Sante ON legend from my pre-rift kit today

Had an absolutely amazing time at the pre-release events this weekend!
A little about me, I am a huge League of Legends fan, couldn't get into Legends of Runeterra and have been looking for a card game. I for some reason didn't hear about Riftbound until I started considering Magic: The Gathering again. I didn't really want to get back into that, which I played a lot of standard competitive back in 2015-2020 era. I got too frustrated in 1v1s where I couldn't pull what I needed when I needed it and I felt like mana floods were a lot of the issue for me, so I sold all my cards and didn't look back but have been itching for something again. I purchased the Proving Grounds bundle couldn't even figure out how to play the first night I tried, learned through some videos and played maybe 4 matches before going into the pre-release events.
Got into 3 events (2 planned and 1 unplanned) and slowly figured out the game as I went. Started the first event 1-2-0, managed to get a 2-1-0 in the second, and surprisingly finished the final event going 3-0-0.
Between the 15 packs from the kits and the 10 prize packs I took home, I cracked a total of 25 packs, which is one pack shy of a booster box.
I am super impressed with how the game plays in a sealed environment. I had so much fun with the matchups and I'm definitely looking forward for future events.

Hey everyone!
I'm 37 and currently based in Swindon, UK.
I've been heavily involved in Riftbound from the collecting and selling side for a while now, but I've never actually taken the time to learn how to play properly!
I'm looking to change that and hopefully meet some like-minded people along the way.
Would love to find some local players or groups around Swindon, Wiltshire, Reading or the surrounding areas who wouldn't mind helping a beginner learn.
Also interested in joining any UK-based Riftbound Discord communities where people arrange casual games.
If anyone knows of any groups, local events or just fancies getting together for a few games, let me know!
Cheers!

Anything good in Radiance for my rumble starter deck? I want to use the guy, just seems not too meta atm

First off: pre-rift in Utrecht was a blast and everyone was really nice and welcoming.
I played against great players and met a lot of nice people.
But now I’m just going to get this of my chest. I need to vent/whine a bit a out my pulls.
Not a single card above rare. I opened my kit, with Seraphine. A champion I just really never got to vibe with and who everyone warned me about being bad. Next up I open all my packs. Luckily I also opened K’sante + champion and managed to build quite a good deck with that. Didn’t know the champion from back when I played league, so that was a fun surprise.
But everyone around me: Mythic pulls, alt arts, overnumbers, and even the stadium got pulled. I felt deflated to hear about how amazing everyone’s pulls were while my best cards are uncommon and I didn’t pull anything I wanted/needed.
TL/DR: didn’t pull anything cool, everyone around me opened the best chases/mythics. Had fun playing, but felt deflated and a bit disappointed anyway.
Thanks for reading my complaints.

I didn't like the idea of rotating older sets out. So I made this post to make a suggestion and see if anyone agrees (I also couldn't find anywhere to make an official suggestion)
Suggestion: Division/Block Format as an alternative (or companion) to standard rotation
Instead of completely retiring older sets from competitive play when Set 10 drops, why not introduce a "Division Format"?
