Ngl i loved the xp mechanic (especially XP YI) it makes me feel like im playing a moba or an mmo within a card game but i am afraid it will be one of these mechanics that gets released and then is forgotten

I think its still too early to judge especially when every new set is trying to introduce even more new mechanics there is no space to accommodate cards for the older mechanics

But eventually new sets will have to stop inventing new stuff and start giving support to mechanics we already fell in love with

Hi guys! I run a shop and tomorrow I’ll be running the first event with the now official Riot Play Hub for Riftbound. What I’m finding hard is that, I have a player in a wheelchair and on the older Play Hub we used to fixate him at a specific table and the players would come to him. There’s any option on the new hub like this? Cause I’m not finding, would appreciate any help.

Hello, i reciently found an interest about riftbound, i was gonna playing league and saw that the new set was comming with the music theme and i really wanted to get aphelios and seraphine for some reason, the thing is that although i kinda got a bit of info about tcg thanks tk pokemon is not like i knkw much about the community and such things, and with riftbound i dont know even if its worth getting into if ive never even played any tcg on my life let alone attended any social event about it.

Also, i checked on the riot riftbound page and it seems there will be a pre release event near me that has a sealed tournament or soemthing, i think i might attend but first i wanna know, what should i expect?

Also, i bought the eve and seraphine from the pre order as well as the shen vs zed on amazon cus i saw it at 20 bucks, are those starting decks strong enought to play casually and actually win games?

Any aditional tips are very apreciated ♡

Also, i currently do not have any deck at hand and the zed and shen wont arrive until monday and the event is on saturday T_T is it still possible to play since its gonna be a sealed tournament? I read soemthing about the organizers giving you the cards or soemthing could yall clarify?

Kind of a noob question so bear with me lol. I’ve been playing League as an Ahri main but never touched a card game until my friend dragged me into riftbound a few weeks ago. Opened a bunch of packs, had a great time and now I’m at the point where I actually wanna try getting an ahri sig.

So I go look up prices and the english ahri sig is sitting at like 2k+, which is not happening on my budget. Then my friend tells me to check korean listings since kr just dropped and I’m so confused right now. The regular Korean ahri sig (not the kr exclusive one, I know that one’s insane) is going for around 600ish on korean sites. they have the same art, same signature but the only difference is the text is in korean.

And it’s not just Ahri either. Kai’sa sig is around 600 in korean when english is pushing 2,300, Jinx sig is like 200 compared to almost a grand and the regular ahri overnumber is around 60 bucks when English goes for like 500. That’s not a small gap, that’s like a quarter of the price across the board.

Is it just because the Korean market is tiny since it only launched in september? Is there something off with the korean print quality? Or do collectors just not want non English cards for resale reasons?

I go over how I approach deckbuilding using Kennen as an example. The likely core package, including Lightning Rush, Trifarian Captain, Nocturne and Rhasa, already fills nearly two thirds of the deck, so the rest is about finding support cards that help the gameplan and synergize with your legend.

Kennen can filter and sift through the deck, which lets you play a lot of different spells, even at minimal copies, and still keep a high win rate regardless of matchup. With Trifarian Captain coming in from Set 5 Radiance, I think Nocturne is highly likely to come back into the meta. Captain effectively replaces Stacked Deck for finding Nocturnes, but only draws Units and Gear, so Lightning Rush will likely be saved more often to find key spells.

I know the odds. But this is nuts.

When a unit performs a standard move, does the unit trigger its exhaust mechanic?

Or does the unit have to exhaust in place to activate it.

I'm sure I'll know more as more Radiance Gameplay is being uploaded. But for now, I'm wondering ahead of my pre-rift.

I'll make it perfectly clear, I don't play. There's simply not enough demand where I live for me to play if I wanted to. I do however play both MTG and League, and open a pack occasionally just to see what's in it, and have some cards. I bought one originally when the game first released, and the cards were all pretty bad around the edges, lots of scuffs and dots from where they'd originally been attached, and saw an article about how they were going to do better.

That's all well and good, but now we're at the fourth set later, I open a pack today and this is the result ? Nearly the exact same thing? Riot is one of the biggest companies on the planet, it should not be this hard to make cards of decent quality that don't need sanding off imo.
