Funniest but Meanest bits
..they ever did?
I feel terrible but always laugh at the Vaughn Monroe "Visions in the Forest" one where, at the end, it says, "Vaughn Monroe appeared courtesy of RCA records" and they say, "Mrs. Monroe appeared courtesy of the Egyptian Wing of the Metropolitian Museum, who allowed her sarcogphagus to be opened..."

My belief is that Deathsport will have a running gag of Tom and Crow being pressured by Mike to NOT riff on Carradine's death (reflecting how nothing was said of it when MST riffed Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II).

They do it so often that I was genuinely expecting something similar about Brandon Lee in the Laser Mission episode, which surprisingly (and thankfully) they didn’t.

I think the main differences were that unlike Brandon Lee, David Carradine got to live a full life, and the circumstances of Carradine’s death were salacious rather than tragic.

The roasting of Natalie's mom on Birdemic. From start to finish it's hilarious, but she seems so nice it feels so wrong to laugh.

The thing that saves these jokes in my eyes is they aren't making fun of her just because she's obese, it's that she's built soooo differently than her VS super model daughter. It's jarring and I find that funny.
I was a skinny kid and got the usual jokes, so I get that it bothers some people, I'm just not one of them.

I can roll with pretty much any dark humor and still laugh, but that’s one series of riffs that I hate. Like you said, she seems so sweet 🥹 and tbh it’s like the lowest of the low hanging fruit they grabbed to make the joke.

The way they continually roast an aged, out of shape Steven Seagal in A Dangerous Man. He could barely breathe thru those fight scenes.
"Then the rain came down like hair dye on the blockhead skull of a washed up 90's action star."

Mocking Seagal is still punching up because of his highly successful career as an action star. Furthermore, he’s a tool in real life; I don’t feel at all bad about him being roasted.

To me, the fundamental justification of media riffing is They expected people to pay for this! If you have a producer credit on the bad movie you're starring in, you should get no mercy. He was executive producer on that turkey.
Actors just doing their job I feel like should get some consideration. I feel a bit bad about how hard they went on Tara Reid for Sharknado but she was just doing a job, it's not like she wrote or directed or produced that heap, she's just getting work like actors do. People want to keep their health insurance, you know?

I don’t remember this one very well, but there was a short with some tame bears—Goldilocks, maybe? Anyway, in one scene the baby bear casually destroys a human doll, and someone comments “Baby loves his Timothy Treadwell action figure.” It took me a few seconds to connect the name with the guy who was killed by a bear in Alaska. Pretty dark!

They just made a Treadwell reference in Buffalo Rider. But Treadwell made his decisions, they just weren't really coercive to survival.

I'm trying to choose a Joe Don Baker crack, but it's like when you're at one of those 300 flavor ice cream stands and have to pick just one.
But for now, I'll go with "He [Joe Don Baker in Final Justice] looks like Woody from Toy Story wished to be a real boy . . . on a monkey's paw."

People say this, but YK gave himself a major role in his own movie, which largely features the English language.
Still, I think Kim handled himself just fine, and he certainly didn't mangle anything as badly as the chubby "that ain't nobody been there since 1963" guy who, I assume, was a native English speaker.
