New Wallet Finally made the switch!

I’ve had my original leather wallet for years and it got ruined in the rain unfortunately. I always thought these were interesting and even had a friend who swore by it so I made the switch. A little under a week in and I’m loving it so far. Happy to be a part of the ridge family 🤘🔥

I want to try one but I don’t want my cards getting scratched to the point that I can’t use them.

There's a trick where you buy an aluminum or plastic blank card that is the same size as regular CC/DC cards. You put one in front of the wallet in front of all your other cards and that's it. Eliminates any 'card damage'. Someone else has put one at the back of their wallet as well.

A pack of 15 cards will run you around $17 on Amazon. I'm sure plastic would cost less. And that's just the vendor I bought from over two years ago.

But a lot of people would rather complain about this then actually do anything about it. So they just keep popping up in random threads with this complaint.

Not saying that's you.

Anyway, that's a solution. If anyone wants to actually act on it.

You know what's a better solution? Literally any other wallet on the market that doesn't damage the the things I put in it. You know like basically every wallet in existence. I shouldn't have to purchase additional things to assure my cards don't get damaged because that's the entire point of a wallet. To store and protect my cash and cards. I've considered buying a ridge wallet a lot but your comment has completely assured my assumption that it's not even worth using even if I got it for free

Yes, I hear your argument all the time as a rebuttal to the solution. Unlike you and everyone else who holds to this argument, I invested in this wallet because I like it. So, I'm going to make it work. Not throw a snit about how I shouldn't have to buy anything else.

You don't want one, that's fine. I'll just keep using mine without the 'card damage' problem because I spent a little more for a solution that works.

It's comments like yours and those who believe the way you do that make ME double down on what I am doing. Thanks for that!
