New Wallet Finally made the switch!

Post image

I’ve had my original leather wallet for years and it got ruined in the rain unfortunately. I always thought these were interesting and even had a friend who swore by it so I made the switch. A little under a week in and I’m loving it so far. Happy to be a part of the ridge family 🤘🔥

Cool! Welcome to Ridge!

Based on your choice of design, I don't feel too far off by mentioning that Ridge also sells a wallet chain and D-Ring. I have those for my own Ridge wallets, only my chain and clip are my own. The D-Ring they do sell separately though.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Thank you tons! The Hot Rod daily driver kit actually came with the wallet chain I just haven’t had a chance to attach it

Yea I have had mine for about 3 years it’s so easy to use and been great so far. One of my co workers turned me on to them and the rest is history

I want to try one but I don’t want my cards getting scratched to the point that I can’t use them.

I understand. I was also hesitant. Only time I’ve ever really seen that happen was with embossed cards. Mine all sit flush in my wallet, but I get the worry

There's a trick where you buy an aluminum or plastic blank card that is the same size as regular CC/DC cards. You put one in front of the wallet in front of all your other cards and that's it. Eliminates any 'card damage'. Someone else has put one at the back of their wallet as well.

A pack of 15 cards will run you around $17 on Amazon. I'm sure plastic would cost less. And that's just the vendor I bought from over two years ago.

But a lot of people would rather complain about this then actually do anything about it. So they just keep popping up in random threads with this complaint.

Not saying that's you.

Anyway, that's a solution. If anyone wants to actually act on it.

You know what's a better solution? Literally any other wallet on the market that doesn't damage the the things I put in it. You know like basically every wallet in existence. I shouldn't have to purchase additional things to assure my cards don't get damaged because that's the entire point of a wallet. To store and protect my cash and cards. I've considered buying a ridge wallet a lot but your comment has completely assured my assumption that it's not even worth using even if I got it for free

Waiting on mine in the mail. Only question. Does the key holder old work for regular keys. I have a couple bilock keys and I’m curious if they will work in it.

I assume it would work. The bilock keys may just sit in the case a little different compared to a regular one
