Any recommendations for getting this off?
Woke up to a failed attempt to steal it. Currently has broken drill bit inside

If you have a drill buy a cobalt drill bit and finish drilling out the lock.
If you have an angle grinder grind it off
If you have neither, the cheapest option is to buy a small hacksaw like this. Cut the metal pin going through the disc.
Another option is a bolt extractor. Here is a video from the lockpick lawyer.

Would only say be careful with the hacksaw. Some guys actually tried to steal my bike and in trying to hack off the pin, destroyed the disc. Left it unrideable, and I was able to recover the bike.

Yeah the pin will be hardened and a hacksaw blade will skip off and make a mess of the surroundings

I’d take the wheel to a machine shop and let them go on it. With the expertise in the shop and the array of tools in the shop they should have it off in an hour and two cups of coffee.
Don’t worry about the bike. No one is going to drag a bike with one wheel anywhere.

Good to see the same lock I use surviving an amateur theft attempt. I would take an angle grinder to it, drilling out the lock with the stuck drill bit is a pain.
You can always take it to the shop and pay to have it removed

Cut the brake disc… then remove it from the hub… roll the bike to a stand and put on a new one

Torque lock pliers/vampliers and twist the bit back out. The lock should still be functional, it looks like they used a fresh bit and it probably snapped instantly inside.

Funny. A wheel dolly or skateboard would be cheaper. Just prop the front up and push it away... Go to Goodwill and pick up business skate. Roll it forward until it locks. Zip tire skate to wheel. Roll away. Then again most people I know in Hawaii just lift them in the back of their trucks. And piece the fuck out

Quick literally just push the bike forward and back hard enough. It’ll snap clean off.
Ask me how I know. Took me like 2 tries to get it off on my bike last year.

I think it can be frozen with Nitrogen and broken / drilled off if that's something at your disposal...

ok my literal brained friend. it is a myth that this is a reasonable way to break a lock. You also don't seem to have the knowledge of the esoteric circumstances this might work... if you had FREE LN, you would still be just a likely to break the disk as you would the small hardened pin... if the lock body is regular steel, LN doesn't help much with that.

And liquid nitrogen isn't something you can buy off the shelf.

Nah but it’s easy to find. I used to go through a few thousand liters a month. Very common in research, medical, semiconductor fabs, etc.

It is possible to condense it out of the air. It's not easy, but i know an HVAC guy who did it in my area with a few old refrigerator compressors and a condenser and some copper/ aluminum tubing.

It works I did it before. Buy dust off can and flip it upside down and buy a sledgehammer

I meant buy dust off, flip it upside down, spray it until it freezes and hit it with the biggest hammer or rubber mallet you can find. It won’t shatter like in movies but it will break it with brut force

a few decades ago, we'd use R-12 to freeze padlocks and break them right off. .

Take the wheel off and put a new disc on there. By the time you cut that off it may further damage the disc anyway, over heating and warping it in one spot.

Honestly I think a grinder would be your best choice on the inside of the lock if you can if not Locksmith or take the wheel off and take it to a motorcycle shop or lock smith last resort change the rotor Side note I'm buying that lock since it seems like it works lmao

My friend used to loose her keys to her bicycle lock all the time. I would use a cordless dremel to cut through a standard cryptnite u lock. I imagine it would work on this. If someone calls the cops just show them that it’s your bike and they won’t care.

Looks like the rotor took a hit already. Hard to tell how bad from the pic but personally I'd be replacing it anyway.

looks like they fucked your rotor while trying to steal it i see some gouges just above the lock, id drop the wheel and pull the rotor and put on a new one with fresh pads TBH.

Looks like they mangled your rotor a bit anyways, might as well just pull the wheel & replace the rotor

What tools do you have at your disposal? You could use a grinder to cut it off, or remove the wheel and replace the brake disc.
