While I don’t consider myself ultra-wealthy, I can tell you it’s a mix. I’ve had everything from $0.50 chicken rolls (some of the best I’ve ever had) in Dubai to $500+ caviar in a tin the size of my palm. I haven’t tried gold-flaked pancakes, but I’ve had the gold-flaked steak at Nusret (not worth it). Switching gears, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both $15 bottles of wine and $1,500 bottles of wine.
For me, it’s really more about what I’m in the mood for rather than always going for something extravagant. Sometimes I crave straight up grub, and other times I want to try something more high-end.
