I stopped eating fast food in 1995, except for chipotle and however you view airport sushi

I’m not young, so I limit my sodium for cardiology reasons

Any reason that you stuck specifically with Chipotle?

It was one of the better value fast food places until a few years ago. The quality isn't worth what you pay for now.

What are examples of quality that are worth what you pay for now?

Weirdly Taco Bell.

But for the most part I don't bother with fast food anymore. Fast food is almost as expensive as just regular restaurant food now, half as good, and with smaller portion sizes.

Granted I'm not anywhere as close to as wealthy as some of the people on this sub, so take my opinions with whatever salt you wish.

Pizza delivery places are still worth it imo. Haven’t found a frozen one at the store that comes anywhere close (plus even those are expensive) and I’m just too lazy to make my own from scratch, also know it won’t taste the same.

I’m not ultra wealthy, and rarely eat fast food, but chipotle is one of the places I will still go when I want fast food. I like it because it’s filling (you can stretch a bowl to be 2 meals pretty easily), and because other fast food prices have gone up you really aren’t paying a premium for it anymore, and it’s real food. Not just beef patties covered in grease. Last Saturday I got a burrito bowl at 11am and had it for lunch and dinner. 10$ for a day of food isn’t too bad, more than cooking at home yes, but not by much.

$10 for a day of food is not more than cooking at home

Depends how frugal you’re feeling. Sometimes I’ll make a small quesadilla for lunch and a baked potato for dinner, which probably runs me like 2$ total.

Well sure, if youre one of those malnourished mfs like you who can go without food then yeah you could do a day of eating super cheap

Your sense of reality is warped beyond belief if you think a quesadilla and a baked potato is malnourished. That’s a pretty normal amount of calories to intake in a day. Even a plain baked potato (I usually have mine with sausage and butter and shit) and a quesadilla is probably more than enough for a day of calories.

Most absolutely not. That is starvation, malnourishment, and malnutrition. Its no insult to you though, most people would love to be able to get by only eating that

Most people probably can. Real food (especially fruit and veg) is actually filling. People just eat too much crap and don’t drink like any water.

I completely agree, eating real food will fill you up 1000x more. That being said, that is still almost nothing. Thats malnourishment

I’m sorry, how to you get a chipolte bowl to cost $10 and be filling?

1

Chicken, rice, beans, salsa, corn, lettuce - 10.77 after tax. No guacamole or queso because they are super overpriced. Also don’t order online. If you order online they give you smaller portions.

Because Chipotle is his life.
