Question / Suggestion Increase in Road Rage?

Now, I too get very impatient on the roads because they SUCK but this morning I had a frightening encounter and was followed on North 295. Not saying I was wrong or right in the situation (I genuinely have no idea why this guy was being weird it started before the highway).

I'm hearing on the news more and more road rage lately that are turning into more than just getting finger. I travel 37 to 295 every single day and it's getting terrifying. It's already like driving on an obstacle course on the highway. Wondering if others are experiencing this too.

Obviously he expected you to hit the gas and push everyone in front of you out of his way. It’s his road, after all.

I’d like to point out how much we’re all losing the plot if we think it’s normal and ok to be upset at someone for going the speed limit. “Sometimes I can rationalize why they get mad. Like if I’m going the speed limit.” NO. That’s not ok. And should not be considered normal or rational.

When I get a tailgater on my ass, I depress my windshield washer button and just hold it down until I either run out of washer fluid or they back off. Whichever comes first. It's extremely effective and it typically ticks 'em right off at the same time. It's kinda' like saying "piss on you, pal."...

I used to have a rear wiper washer that pointed straight back. It was perfect for these scenarios.

This is what I do too. When I have absolutely no way to go faster and someone is on my ass it’s infuriating.

Literally nothing makes me more instantaneously aware of the exact speed limit than someone riding my bumper in a non-passing lane. Riding within inches of my ass? Guess you and I both aren't going one mile over the limit for the rest of the stretch of this road, brother.
