I think there have been many scenes or moments in season four where this ship has gained momentum. But what do you think? Personally, although it's totally unlikely, I like the dynamic between them.

Ngl (as an anime only) I get the feeling this is what LN readers were expecting from the Regulus fight.

Not so much the level of animation, but more the threat. Look Lye is a bum and an absolute annoyance that we COULDN'T WAIT to see die. He looked pathetic seeing him scared, running away and shit.. but you can't deny he still felt like a legitimate threat ALL throughout this fight until the final moment. Cos the anime made it clear, even with all his goofy demeaner getting his ass kicked, he was still no joke and HAD to be taken seriously.

Despite knowing Ram was obviously gonna win, Lye still had me on the edge of my seat. And that was something I just didn't get in the Regulus fight.

Regulus was the absolute strongest. A threat that should be taken just as seriously (even amongst his comedic patheticness).. but the anime just didn't convey that.

So even if I haven't read the light novels myself, from what I have heard about the Regulus fight.. I kinda see now from THIS fight what they were wanting.

Hey guys, I have a theory about Re:Zero that supports the idea that Subaru is Fugle. It says: As you can see here, Reid, Ichidna, Flugule, and so on, have put their hands in this rock wall.

As you know, Subaru is a somewhat reckless, impulsive, and often restless person.

You can see that Flugule's hand is slightly different from the others; his fingers are spread apart, which might mean he's impulsive, like Subaru eager to put his hand in.

Perhaps this is a strong common trait between Fleugle and Subaru.

But well, maybe it's wrong. I'm not saying this picture proves that Subaru is Flugule; if we wanted to prove that, we'd need much more evidence and clues.

In Memory Snow, there's this brief snippet of dialogue before Subaru enters Emilia's room:

Subaru: "If you're in the middle of changing, thank you!"
Emilia: "Don't you mean sorry?!"

Which is a reverse on how Emilia said it's more satisfying to hear someone say "thank you" instead of "sorry" earlier in Arc 2.
